I didn't hate it, Dash was much better in this episode than in like literally almost every other episode this season. That was good enough for me.

It was a decent episode. The animation was very different from what we got in the past, like the 3D environment building on the train(I never noticed that before, so maybe it has happened) and all the facial expressions. Whoever led this episode had a good idea for a direction.

Pinkie Pie went OOC she ether became scared of playing Buckball or she plain gave into her fears. Both seem weird coming from giggle at the ghostie Panka Poe.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack got their butts handed to them in sports.

Alicorns are barred from Buckball.

An alicorn could probably play any of the three positions as long as they stuck to the usual rules. No wings when catching, no magic when guarding, and hooves only when bucking.

It was enjoyable, lots of ass, Dash being a cunt again, lesson zero tier faces. I was a bit confused by Ponk's behavior but then I figured that letting others down is, like, her biggest fear. No cringy dialogs and shitty songs. Solid 7/10 at least.

I find it weird in the first place that the positions are racially segregated. I was actually expecting the Appleloosa team to be made up entirely of earth ponies, and the Ponyville team to have trouble dealing with a more 2d plane.

Theoretically any pony could do the bucking or catching, but earth ponies and unicorns respectively are the best suited for it.

And, y'know, the Ticket Master, Boat Busters, FiM parts 1&2, Dragonshy, Look Before You Sleep, Swarm of the Century, Fall Weather Friends, Stare Master, The Show Stoppers, A Bird in the Hoof, Owl's Well that Ends Well, Sonic Rainboom, The Best Night Ever, come to think of it like virtually all of season 1.

Episode was good. The writer did a good job, all things considered (no over-the-top writing, no blatant OOC, Snails was actually kinda cool).
Funny scenes and expressions (if a little exaggerated at times).
7/10 or something.

It was ok. Too "season 1" (slower pace, ponies talking slower, more predictable...) for my liking but fans of S1 probably would enjoy it a lot.

I liked it except for this part, god I hate it when they do the circle-face snout shit. I've never particularly disliked any of the mlp staff up until this point, whoever is storyboarding this ugly shit needs to stop.

I have no issues with the writing of Fluttershy throwing a tantrum since she's been shown to have her moments but this animation is hideous.

Also the 3D train was jarring as fuck but still forgivable compared to this.
