You'll be more qualified than most of the people who frequent this board chap.

Your knowledge in biology in particular could prove to be useful. Though that will depend on your proven specialty. Engineering could be helpful with regards to knowing how a body may work in terms of movement and supporting body weight.

I've built up a small repository of TF related images myself, plus any other images that may have fit them thematically, be it R34, landscape, character portraits, scene shots, and other images that might go along with it. It's a work in progress, but it is something I suppose.

Unrelated, I have built a different repository dedicated to art tutorials, guides, and the like. Quite the hassle to not only sort through the muck to find stuff of both high quality and that can be worked with, but implementing fragmented ideas and theories together on a consistent basis. God help you if the creator of said tutorial hasn't bundled it up into a neat zip file.

It would be nice to have a doc to reference to for materials. Perhaps we could all contribute in this regard. A good quality guide would be handy too, be they for writers or artists.

A guide for anything with at least a semi-realism quality would be nice, with particular attention to proper proportions like displayed here. (The eyes in particular look like what I would envision a pony in IRL would look like for the most part.) As for the guide itself though, I am curious as to how one would even start it. What should be considered? How should it be approached? Etc, etc, etc.

As for referring to the original sources, I know the feeling. 4chan doesn't have a convenient feature to save the original file name of any given image, thus forcing me to look via reverse search. Assuming I even find it, sites like dA are inconsistent with regards to download. Sometimes it gives an HTML for the full version, forcing you to click the download link again for the full picture. As for redundancies, I believe there are a couple programs out there that could help find and delete said redundancies. Though I personally don't use them for fear of deleting the optimal image. (I.E: Filename with author on in instead of some pseudo numbers like here on 4chan.)

The author is legit insane, and believes that humanity needs to be exterminated and replaced with ponies from a fictional TV show. Every story follows a similar formula, humans are irredeemable monsters that must be brainwashed into being ponies by the OOC OP god being that is his version of Celestia. Looking at it again, that isn't the story I read, I read "Code Majeste," instead from the same author though. The narrative is that a human is accidentally turned into an alicorn, and Celestia wants to kill them because they might destroy the universe or something. There's a lot of filler in between to reinforce how terrible humanity is, but then the ending happens.

I can't begin to explain the circumstances. Basically the protagonist and Celestia are in the same city. Luna doesn't want kill the protag, so she teleports her into the vault contained within another character's apartment. The man who owns the apartment brings out a fucking shotgun and blows her head off.

Her alicorn healing allows her to survive, but Luna and the man jam steel balls into her brain into the organ that gives her the alicorn powers to protect her from Celestia. If you ask why they don't do some kind of surgery, don't, it's never addressed.
