I will include a breif enough recap of important characters, and who they are in relation to Hunter, during the first thread. It may be too much to take in for newcomers, so i have already started a information/FAQ for that reason. It will explain some of the mechanics in the CYOA and the general theme, but should be "new" enough that people shouldn't get too lost or will catch on quick.

The general information you need is that you are the changeling son of a pony and changeling that were part of a known space mercenary crew, and have decided to take simmilar steps and venture off on your own.

There will be parts that you encounter the previous crew or family, but they will usually be spaced quite apart and not play a constant role in the CYOA (Save for your family.)

All three pony races are walking cum rags.

Trade school for welding, love it too, turns out i can weld worth a damn. Got to learn and do stick, MIG, flux core, brazing, and TIG welding. The only one i can say i dislike a little is TIG, because it is very delicate and the weld is usually 1/8 of an inch in size or smaller. got a good shock though my arm when i had it set to 200 amps when welding aluminum, couldn't let go of the filler rod because of the AC current.

Best few months i ever had, teachers all liked my welding and had the best sense of humor. One of them was super into WoT too, had fun talking about games with him.

But now that i graduated, i wanted to come back and keep providing entertainment for CYOA, because i never wanted to end Space Vex so suddenly.

Feeling under the weather though, so updates are probably going to come slow

I'm building a world/combat guide right now for a CYOA. It's going to be highly technical because I plan on including combat as a major aspect. But I think I'm putting waaay too much into the technical aspects of the CYOA. Maybe I need to simplify it drastically, before I start producing anything content related.

The document I'm writing for it has already reached 6.6k words, or 12 pages. Single spaced. Maybe I should break it up into small sections and make it into multiple word documents? It wouldn't be required to actually play, it would just explain the mechanics I thought of for health, energy, etc. How weapons work, and how turns are held. It's very RPG related, but maybe I should cut it down. I don't know for sure, so I'd like an opinion on it.

Should I make highly technical combat functions, or resort to overly simplified "you have x HP, they have x HP. What do?" That's not very engaging and doesn't have much strategy, but I'm afraid if I put too much effort into designing a D&D similar combat system, no one will want to use it.
