Well there's nothing we know that indicates Dust has anything to do with that place. I think the most significant thing from the past with this place is that Dash felt sympathetic for Strongheart and the other buffalo while AJ wasn't in Over a Barrel. Perhaps the Appleoosa side will have some buffalo on the team like Strongheart and maybe Dash and AJ will have mixed feelings about this and it will impact how they coach Fluttershy and Pinkie, and will cause some conflict that ruins things for Fluttershy and Pinkie. Or maybe I'm wrong and it is Lightning Dust out of fucking nowhere. Maybe Dust tries to push the limits for the Appleoosa side, and Dash sees this and tries to match them through Fluttershy and Pinkie's efforts. AJ is maybe a voice of reason that Dash ignores, and eventually there is conflict between Dash and Dust that ruins everything. In the end Dash and Dust realize they ruined things for others and make up for things.
