Is just not relevant to the discussion. Everyone knows that MLP as a branch will exist even longer than 2020. But it doesn't mean FiM will survive, but more likely Equestria Girls and IDW comics, toys books and other merchandise. You know, Frozen as a franchise is still relevant after just one movie along with new toys, school accessories etc.

I don't know, but I've had a bad feeling about things ever since their lawyers started going on a drunken rampage destroying many of the amazing things that the fandom had been making.

I guess Fighting is Magic never should have raised money for charity or been a good looking, good playing product.

Hindsight can probably be used to find earlier signs of decline, but with a complex machine like making an animated show, it's way easier to destroy it than it is to keep it going well.

They've also been fucking the seasons over worse and worse as time went on, even as the animators have had more and more resources to work with. It's like comparing early-mid X-Files to the shambling corpse of a show that late season X-Files became. It lost the soul of the show.
