I still like the anime look but I haven't really kept up with the newer shows. The only anime I've been watching lately is stuff on Netflix.

Um, sure, why not? Not quite the fansub-munching dvd-buying anime fan I was in my younger years, but I like anything with robots or space travel or combat or cute girls doing cute things.

I also love american primetime sitcom toons (simpsons through season 12 is probably my favorite TV ever). Grew up on stuff like Animaniacs, love smart comedy that's unafraid to be stupid.

I think of fim as 1/3 sitcom, 1/3 magical girl anime, 1/3 just a regular saturday morning kids' cartoon.

i see anime, but rarely (last one was called yakitate! ja-pan). in another aspect, so far i got the 42 mangas of dragonball, and a short series called DNA2 (only 5 mangas)

I don't actively watch anime, but there were some I liked. FMA was great and so was Dantalian no Shoka.

You should watch Shiki as well, could also be called Shiki: corpse demon depending where you are looking for it.

And Mushishi and Natsume Yuujinchou, all seasons of these two shows. Actually everyone in this thread who has not seen these two should watch them.

Murica is ruining the anime feeling on mlp.

Used to from about 06 to 08. Got tired of it all when I realized that once youve seen one animu from each genre youve seen them all.
