There have been a couple years where Midwest Bronyfest was held in Kansas (Overland Park). Still pretty close to Missouri though.

I went to the first babscon. For some reason there were a couple homosuck cosplayers. Who role played as the characters they dressed up as.

Other than that it was a pretty fun time

There's always a few people who can't go to the con they want to show off at, so they go for the next best thing. There was a D.VA, and a Nick and Judy at Bronycon this year, as well as random non pony fursuits.
