Anyway, show-Cadence don't exist to me.
In my mind, any character she may or may not had was replaced by 4chan version of Cadence.
The one that breaks shit, one that causes massive inconvenience, one that stares happily at you from the screen while you can practically hear excited 'HI ANON!' in her voice.

I don't mind that Cadence.

Cadence is one of the final characters introduced before I stopped watching the show. Knowing the circumstances of her creation I know I shouldn't like her; but given how harmless she's been, how cute and warm-hearted she is with her husband and child, how she's mostly stayed in the background, and how we made her our own lovable Princess of Calamity ... I can't dislike her. I should, but she's alright.

I agree, she's bland, not much personality in the show except that she's a princess and knows how to politic.

She's slightly more interesting in the comic, I guess her weakness is that she's too nice/too politic. Although she liked shining armor in high school, she let some toolbox take her to the prom instead because he asked first and her friends liked him. Of course, it all gets fixed on the day like you'd expect from a perfect plot armored mary sue princess.

Shes terrible, but i kinda liked her in the last season.
