also it's not refugee itself that is a problem, it's the governments lack of intelligence to deal with it. We could have easily handled sorting out the good from the bad refugee if they knew what they were doing

The question is where do we go from here, will Thorax appear in the background, series final / movie, perhaps he will settle down and make a family with a pony. I don't know what Changeling-pony hybrid babies would look like but as long as their happy i guess... i really see a chance for thorax to have potential here maybe be the new discord, have a couple of episodes the odd one or two being the centre of the show.

That would assume that Thorax was named by Chrysalis or even that all changelings have names.

It's entirely possible that Thorax named himself after he abandoned his people in order to be more like ponies. Changelings could be batch-numbered in the hive for all we know.
