>Cider
Enjoy not making it. There's a ton of calories in cider :^(

as opposed to beer? or highball drinks?
most forms of ingesting alcohol are pretty unhealthy next to the alcohol itself. unless you're an alcoholic and just drink liquor from the bottle.
Not really, most are too sweet and drinking enough to get drunk results in a really bad hangover due to the sugar. One or two bottles is ok though but then it's back to booze or beer.
Well, I tried out cider because of the show, and I've grown to like it.
I don't normally drink alcohol aside from vodka, but I always drink a small bottle of cider when I'm watching ponies.

I hate alcohol.
Yeah, I have actually. Also, there's a local brewery near where I live that makes it's own ciders. It's a bit on the sweet side, but they make a variety of different ciders (pear, peach, raspberry, cherry, lemon, occasionally blood orange and pomegranates, etc). Their whole thing is that everything they make (beer, ciders, meads) is made of honey.

>honey
I brew my own mead because it's hard to get good mead for a reasonable price. It's just not popular enough, + price of honey is high in recent years.

Cider is far too sweet for me to enjoy any more, when i was younger i'd drink it but i wont touch the stuff now, too much sugar.

When I drink cider, its usually only one bottle, and then I'm either done or I switch to something less sweet.

I'm not an alcoholic and I drink rum and vodka straight.
