I have rheumatoid arthritis that prevents me from engaging in much physical activity. I'm only 30.

The pain in literally every joint in my body is exquisitely unbearable and I mostly use voice assistance software to navigate a computer.

I'll post it once more I guess, since it really hasn't changed.

I run and I ball with several acquaintances of mine.

Don't really do it for her, but I enjoy it and if that's true, I guess she does too.

My mother was watching one of those "My 600 lb life" shows or whatever it's called and just seeing someone be that big and completely immobile and impossibly obese made me feel physically ill and terrified. No judge for the fetish, I just share your sentiment about being scared of becoming fat because it looks miserable. I love eating but that helps motivate me to work out because then I can cram more calories in my face without becoming a sloppy sweaty landmass.

I was on Enbrel for a while but that shit literally gives you cancer so I stopped it. Right now I just take lots of NSAIDs, which ended up giving me a stomach ulcer, but what can you do.

That's how I felt with the sit ups. I was breathing heavy after 10 on the first day, then I just gradually upped it every day and by the start of the next week I could do 30 no problem. That's still a ridiculously small achievement but dangit my chubby ass is proud.

I used to work out, both running and weight lifting. Got pretty fit, even has some tone still, but when I got into a period of stress and angst I stopped working out and gained a decent amount of fat.

I tries picking up running/jogging with the release of Pokémon GO, but ended up fracturing my shins. My legs couldn't keep up with my lungs, something I never thought I'd be able to say.

I'm looking to pick up weight lifting again l, though, and get fit for my waifu.

I try to go to the gym 5 times a week and work different parts of my body after a mile warm up.
Real talk for fatties: YOU CAN DO IT
The only thing stopping you, is you in most cases.
I was 294 lbs about two years ago, now I'm on a bulk from 184. I'm 196 now.
But change is possible, what worked for me is running a lot, lifting a lot, and changing my diet.
A diet is not some fad you do, it's you DIET as in what you eat. Cut out junk, cut back on soda till you don't want it more. Eat less. These will all help you.
Eventually you can improve your diet with constant small changes.

I'm about 130lb Skellington, not really exercising much except my right arm. In that sense In pretty ripped but I have no idea what kind of workout to pursue, I want to be skinny strong since I can't seem to gain any more weight.

Cardio is basicly endurance and distance.
Bench implies bench press, which is a way to lift weights, basicly training the arms.
Leg press is the same thing but for the legs.
I get your point, that anon used a lot of gym terminology, it can be said in a way that everyone will know what he is talking about.

Yeah, kind of the same for me. Though I guess the bigger problem is I'm afraid of being those failure, overweight, neckbeard fans of comics, cartoons and shit. I'm afraid of looking like one of those stereotypes, so I do what I can to at least not be overweight, and not wear black trenchcoats and that kind of garbage.
