The fandom is in a weird spot. Apparently it's still going really strong in Russia, and it's picking up in China. Over here, we're settling down from the most hated group on the internet to just another autistic fandom. Now we have competition--FNAF, Undermeme, and Steven Tumblrverse are all soaking up fans and attention.
But we'll endure. Pony's been around for 35 years, and Hasbro's not about to give up its biggest source of autismbux.

Yeah, I've been seeing a lot of content from Russia. But, I'd imagine that this fandom will become like the Dr. Who fandom; they've been around for years and they are still around. The hardy will survive and it'll grow into a newer generation down the line.
