28 Pranks Later really doesn't deserve the hate it's getting, it's not a GREAT episode but it's nowhere near a particularly bad one ether and had it aired a few seasons ago I think it would of been received quite well.

Dashfans are just too damn oversenstive to her displaying her bad traits at all. They seem to want her to just be literally perfect.

I think the comics are alright. Some are utter shit, some are better than the show. I don't understand the hate.

Tirek was the best villain.

What About Discord is the worst episode in the series, hands down. Maybe not an unpopular opinion, but I can't emphasize it enough. MMDW, Princess Spike, this episode, they're masterpieces compared to WAD.

I'm ambivalent about the wings. I don't think Twilight is a mary sue. If anything she got turned into a background pony and the writers' punching bag.

I enjoy majority of the Season 6, I believe it to be on par of the quality of S4 and S2, it is below S5 and way above S3.

I believe Applejack is the worst link in the show and never brings anything to the table and only wastes time.If we'll ever get G5 I want her character to see major over-haul or just get rid off her all together and replace the "straight" man with more of a compelling personality. middle man doesn't have to mean Applejack. There are various characters in fiction who have this role and are loved by many.


S3 was ok, it wasn't a disaster, definetelly the weakest season with some nice episodes, it felt experimental and weird in places.

I am totally ok with Twilight having wings, but then again I was never too much of a fan of her.


I don't mind the comics, none of them touch the show's quality though.

Somepony to Watch over me is in my top 10 favorite episodes. It was very enjoyable and nobody was poorly characterized. Since seeing it, Apple Bloom has been my favorite character.

After watching "Breezy" episode I almost gave up upon the show, after watching Somepony to Watch over me it has been brought back, it was entertaining and funny, meanwhile Breezies were fucking boring.

Sunset was a better villain than Starlight.
Sunset has had better development and potential between the last two movies than most of the main characters in the show have had since season 2.
I have fapped to both pony and humanized and anthro once every blue moon but to be perfectly honest I prefer humanized. Hand-holding turns me on.

It really emphasized using your friends as a crutch when you make mistakes. It could have worked so much better if she said something like "today I learned not to let my pride get the better of me. It sets an arbitrary standard for quality and basically infers that kids are too stupid to gauge "quality" while simultaneously implying whoever they were replying to meant that instead. Because to say something should probably be held to different standards for being children's entertainment somehow automatically assumes the children are dumb. Hypocritically, it's asserted that children's entertainment should be held up to adult standards because only adults can appreciate quality.

I see the "for kids" argument not as a reason for something to be low quality, but that the media itself should be graded by different standards. Often times I see "just because it's a kids' show doesn't mean I can't criticize it" used more for an excuse to bleat "it's shit, it's shit, it's shit!" while dismissing any counterpoints. which to be honest only drags down the general quality of discussion and enforces a mindless echochamber.
