I don't know.
Not as such, maybe.

I enjoy the episodes, and I cherish every new one, but that's hardly being emotional.

But I spent the last hour or so on a nostalgia-binge, watching old pony videos and listening to old pony songs, reading Moonstuck and Sweetiepoo.
And while I'll always have the entire show itself in HD on my hard drive, and new people will always discover it decades from now, I do feel melancholy for that part of the early fandom, there's so many fond memories, and so many of the old artists have left us, none of which is ever coming back.
