Eh Season 2 after S4 has the most outright bottom tier episodes, the best season is probably 5.

1 is weird the second half is fantastic but watching the first half now is kinda painful. Rarity and Fluttershy in particular feel totally different than how they do later in those episodes.

I was fine with Dash and Rarity, I would expect Dash to act like this in this kind of situation in most cases because of her massive Ego and they set up Rarity as the "Living Childhood dream vicarously through relative" type but Applejack felt really off, and the tradition joke wore out quickly.

I feel bad for the Applefags, half the time when AJ is put in a starring role they put her kind of OOC so she can have a conflict.

it's not that they acted like bitches. It's that after all the development we've seen between Sweetie/Rarity becoming closer together and AJ letting Apple Bloom become more independent, they should have dealt with this problem differently.

Season 5 had excellent friendship lessons, and touched on the much needed gaps in the show. Like Diamond Tiara's character, The Cutie Mark Crusaders continued to become better and better, and cutie mark magic becoming better understood.

Season 6 feels wayy too emotionally rushed. The only episode I liked so far was A Saddle Row Review.
