Depression; not gonna go into details and such, but I wasn't in a very good place mentally. Still not entirley there, dealing with spurts of extreme sadness that make me pause for a moment while I try to figure out why I want to cry at the moment. Took a massive break from browsing 4chan and tried to get outside more often and keep myself active.

At this point it's more of keeping an active mind and keeping a few people in the loop on how I feel. The offer is very much appreciated though.

The upside of all this is that I get to ride out a few brief moments of lucidty that pumps me full of creativity and allows my thought process to kick into overdrive. I started some green that way, and though I haven't posted in a while I've been using those moments to write down and expand my story. I think a better description of that feeling was said by Sylvia Plath; she said it best.

Those are called panic attacks. I can't sleep at night anymore because of them (though I did manage to sleep for a couple hours a few nights ago). Count yourself lucky if you only get them during the day, because you can prepare to receive them or deflect them.
Read about panic/anxiety attacks. Problems tend to lose their sting once you understand their mechanics. Though mine actually have reasons.

I'll admit......it's been a couple of days. My pc crapped out on me thursday night and couldn't buy the replacement until this afternoon. Sadly.......the only thing of value that was lost on the old pc was my dazzling folder. Oh well, rebuilding it will be a labor of love.

I've been a metalfag since the summer between elementary and junior high. I used tp hate music. It sounded like noise to me. And it really was. Until my cool old cousin gave an Iron Maiden Best Of. I know, I know. Baby's first metal.

I fell in love with the sound of a guitar that didn't sound like a guitar, the aggressive rhythm and songs that lasted five instead of three minutes and had instrumental parts in them.
I later moved to bands such as Hammerfall, Rhapsody, Manowar and Gaia Epicus.

Some things you choose. Other things choose you. But metal? It claims you as it's own.
Devout followers of other music religions (such as gangsta, ethnic and most of pop) inspire great loathing in me.

Hah, yeah. I didn't know how to word it. Different types of music attract different types of people. People who listen to various types of music tend to have more balanced personalities while those who don't are more "distilled". They are purists. Their music becomes their lifestyle.
I'm not gonna think poorly of someone because he doesn't listen to music I like. It's just that some music genres sound like utter crap to me and tend to attract purists that match their taste in music.
I'm fully aware that's how others see me though. It's all a matter of taste in music and people.

Not really. I hate making plans for things because I feel they give me an obligation kind of feel. I end up not enjoying my time before or during the planned things even when they are fun, like going out with friends.

Also sometimes having a planned day can be crushing. You wake up, you perform a colourless automated routine, you go back to bed and repeat next time you open your eyes.
When you don't plan, you have unpredictability giving you hope. More than once I've woken up to a day that felt like a waste of life time only to end up doing something crazy that made the day kinda worthwhile.

Nah, it's okay. It's not usually my cup of tea either. Stuff like Mega Babies bother me to this day. Whenever I use gross-out humour it either was unintentional or I'm having fun thinking of people's reactions. I don't generally find disgusting things or gore funny.
