Do you still watch the show?

It has declined in quality, I'm not going to deny that. Espically with S6 no thanks to a pink shimmer... But it's my show, I've been with this since early-mid 2011 and I'm not giving up now.

Since S2 started, I have, or have done my best to watch every episode the night or following day it comes out on youtube.

The show's still good to me, so I've felt no reason to stop.

It doesn't hurt that it's super easy for me to keep up with it because it airs at a time when I'm:
a) awake
b) not doing anything else

I still enjoy the show, so of course I'm still going to watch it. Are there really people here that actually stopped and still post? How do they discuss the actual show?

Of course, there are some questionable decisions in this new season, but hopefully the next one will get everything back on the right track.

Starlight Glimmer, in her entirety. I don't mean to derail the thread so soon, cause she is a touchy subject, what with that one autist, but I personally think she's a gigantic Mary Sue in the truest sense of the term.

I mean, she could be done well, but they just didn't pull it off. Instead, she seems to be a completely unrepentant asshole who all of the mane six inexplicably love; despite the fact that she's never shown interacting with them in any positive way. She should have been abandoned at the end of Season 5.
There's no reason for her. She doesn't fill any role, she doesn't interact with anyone in any meaningful way, why does she even exist?
(Granted, you could say the same about Cadence, but at least Cadence wasn't given entire episodes dedicated to her back when she was introduced.)

Having Rainbow join the Wonderbolts as well, without really making it a big deal.

Flurry Heart too, but I'm holding out on hoping there's a bigger picture here I can't see beyond 'Hasbro said we need a baby pony doll.'

I'm sure there's more, but I can't really be bothered to find them.

Quality hasn't declined that much, just direction. Quality takes the hardest hit when they talk down to children instead of letting them discover on their own. Applejack's Day Off is evident of this.

Well it's kinda like my weekend thing
Since i live in europe i watch it at 17:30 so enough time to get drunk and shit, i grew an the booz and i allways want more for my mlp folder

The show is shit the latest episode made me seriously consider droping it
I don't feel like sitting in front of my pc every week and just watch how this show gets worse and worse

I watched the first 4 seasons, but I've gotta admit I never thought it was any good. I was under the misguided impression that you had to watch the show to understand the fandom jokes and parodies.

By the end of Season 4 I just couldn't take it anymore, so I quit. I haven't watched an episode, new or re-run in over two years and holy shit I'm happier for it.
Ponyfags are going to meme any important or funny moments anyway, so I'm not missing anything...and I don't have to sit through 22 minutes of cringe inducing, horrible writing and storytelling.

I'm not bagging on the people who still watch and enjoy the show. If you like it, good.
But I'm really happy I quit and wish I'd done it sooner.
