Feathers cut and wings atrophied, he would wish to fly again, an unconquered spirit, but is too scared of reprucussions to even just fluff and preen them.


Griffon:
Owned by the suburban soccer mom, the type that buys an MRAP to put their hellspawn in school and is a pure hell bitch over stuff she does, most likely to place a complex sandwich order verbally, then throw it at the manager swearing she ordered none of it and wants a refund.
Griffon is kept cooped up in the house, the plaything of the hellspawn and made service the house.
Gets none of the needed exercise and he develops anxiety disorders out of fear that the hellspawn might show up and start using him for art or dress up.

I would want to rescue a few ponies, maybe around 3 or 4 that were abused in some way by previous masters. I would live out in the country side with 10-15 acres of land and have my own little ranch of sorts. Maybe even start a rescued pony shelter out there and help save more. Set up an extremely tight background check and only adopt out to the closest of friends and people I trust. If any word gets back that they're abused the adoptee is immediately blacklisted for three generations or some bullshit to make my background check legitimate. Adopting a pony from here would essentially be like buying an expensive automatic receiver for a firearm. This will probably go badly in some way

Pretty much this. I'm assuming by rescue you mean I got her for cheap or free, because I wouldn't be able to afford her otherwise.
