I was planning on writing a story where the Power Ponies (and Sunset) hold a Super Duper Secret Super Meeting (Pinkie's name for it, she drew the straw) at his house, while Anon gets them snacks, cleans up/prevents messes and fights, and deal with Sunset being secretly lewd with him in front of her friends.

For me, I make a list of ideas in a Word Doc.
From there, it's just feeling out ideas for the direction a story could take and then narrowing it down to a single line, from beginning to end.

Then it's all just fluff. How characters talk, the setting, the tone of the piece, the language you use, etc.

Then it's writing, re-writing, double-rewriting, double extra triple rewriting, spelling checks, spelling doublechecks, and then posting it.

For me, at least, that's the general path things take.
Some things, like ideas the public brings up, may tweak things, but always stay true to your core story.

When I first started writing the story, way back when, it was
It got dropped off the list in time

Recently I grew tired of the story. Not sure which aspects of it, but still. That's why I made that post yesterday. I was skimming through the thread tonight and noticed I was being accused of madness and the like. Finally I saw the prank thing you wrote. I thought. Maybe I can write Batshimmer for a while and then do the same thing a couple of times and reveal that Sunset was mad. But after one quick post, mirroring the first Spider post, I figured I wouldn't last. I made the yugioh post, using an idea I had for some time. Finally, I have been thinking about a story where the main character was a superhero but turned out she was just crazy in the end. Unfortunately Moon Knight beat me to it. So I did the next best thing. She's crazy, but she isn't exactly crazy because she's a fictional character. I had to to do it all tonight, otherwise the hype could die down and I wasn't sure I would have wanted to continue it.
