The movie is probably alright, but what killed it was the feminism pandering because how controversial it is, it never works. Plus, I refuse to watch movies that has anything to do with feminism/feminism ideas because they have been pushing it lately, not just with Ghostbusters, that was just the icing in the cake. People will deny it [spoilers] preferably feminist [/spoiler] but the revenue they received back is the proof all we need that it tanked. Other successful movies like Deadpool, and Zootopia for example didn't need a $144M budget and they made twice as much.
