OP here, sorry to start things so terribly, next time I will be more considerate with how I phrase things so no one will think that these threads are just limited to dem YouTube or just videos. I have never worked on a project for so long and hard in quite a while, personally I am happy with the results. The only thing that bothers me here is how YouTube made the quality much worse and put pixelation everywhere. YouTube's bitrate man, not much you can do about that, but I don't think it damaged the video too much. I wasn't this happy with my own video in a while, so I was really pleased with this one.

You should use what you're doing for works like Dali, or other surrealist effects. If you're talking about normal 3 point perspective you only use three points total, and fit all your objects into that perspective grid, not one object per perspective grid

There's an easy way to avoid getting content ID'd when using clips or at least work around it, Just upload the video on private first. If it gets ID'd then just take it down and rework it, no one will be the wiser.

Automated content ID isn't a big deal. As long as you keep the clips short, it doesn't pick em up. That's really all there is to it.

Still, all of my videos get copyright claimed eventually because of manual identification. I'm pretty sure Hasbro studios has people whose only job is to troll around youtube looking for anything that uses so much as a picture of their material. I never get hit by the automatic content ID, but every time I post a video, anywhere from three, four, five days - even a week or two - later, it gets manually claimed.

Also, getting copyright claimed usually doesn't mean your shit gets taken down, unless you post full episodes. It just means that all ad revenue from the video goes to the claimant - immediately and without any recourse on your end. You can fight through Youtube's joke of a counter-claim process, but it takes about a month per video, and even if you win, you don't get any of that ad money back, you just regain the rights to any future revenue. Also you can't fight more than three at a time

- A ton of software synthesizers (Massive, Serum, Sylenth, TAL UNO, a bunch of freebies, etc.)
- An AT-2020 condenser microphone

For art

I got into drawing when I was a kid growing up in the hood. Art was a way to escape my shitty environment so I'd draw all sorts of shit. Mostly Sonic, because that series blew my little mind as a kid. As for music, I heard Moment of Truth by Gangstarr while playing Dave Mirra's BMX 2 and I was like...shit, this is IT man. Then nothing happened until I got into ponies in 2012. I got into the pony music scene and thought a bunch of the "rappers" in it were shit, so I set out to make my own. Of course I sucked complete ass until very recently, so gg no re.

I trod on my phone last weekend, the only way to access the data is by pressing a button on the now fucked screen. Looks good honestly! Keep it up! The one thing I'd caution is that if you ever decide to do pixel art for a game, take note of relative dimensions and sprite size. I made some early test sprites for my game and then when I loaded them onto the canvas they were large enough that they went off the screen and I needed to start from scratch. (They were roughly the same size as the ones you've posted) Also, the more pixels you have the less "chunky" it looks, but you also gain more detail. It just depends on what you're aiming for honestly. That and the number of colors you use is also huge, there's a big stylistic difference between using all 256^3 colors available and limiting yourself to a set palette.

The difference is that the other one wasn't registered, had no title, description, or welcome message (not trying to hate on the other anon, he did awesome in pointing us to a channel to go to). But I felt it was transient; I thought having an actual registered IRC would be a better, more "established" meeting grounds.

We could have a discord for this sort of thing. Thing is, I'm not sure what people prefer as a means of communication these days or if /mlp/ has a large enough content-creator base. In the mean time, we could use this and see if people prefer irc or discord. If not, I'll just delete it once the thread dies.
