Glad you asked.

Welcome to Super Pony, a CYOA taking place in Maretropolis, a city where the forces of good and evil are at a constant struggle.
You play as Easy Ride, also known as Road Rage, and this is your quest to get back at Boomerang for sending you to prison and subsequently ruining your life.

reminder
“YESTHAT’SAGREAIDEALET’SGOTHEREGOODTHINKINGTHAT’SPERFECT!”
>You rattle off, not stopping to take a breath.
>”Wow, I didn’t know that you enjoyed carnivals so much.”
“Yeah, they’re my favorite, you know?”
>You’re so smooth.
>You can see it now.
>You’ll win her a doll at one of the game stands.
>Getting down on one knee, you’ll hold it aloft in one hoof.
>She’ll gladly accept, hugging you tightly.
>She’ll be all, “Tinker, you’re so awesome and manly, and your parents were totally wrong about you.”
>And you’ll sweep her off her hooves and say “I know, baby doll,” and you’ll walk off into the sunset with your super hot new marefriend.
>Yep, that’s totally what’s gonna happen.
>You check your saddlebags.
>Fifty bits shine back at you.
>That should be enough for an evening, you’d think.
>”Well what are we waiting for, let’s go!”
>The two of you get up and make your way to central park.
>A quaint little attraction has been set up for Maretropolis families to enjoy.
>General carnival game stands are set up along the sides of the squares.
>There’s basketball shooting, one of those games where you have to knock the cups over, ring toss, ski ball, and even a test-your-strength tower.
>All of them have various plush dolls for prizes.
>They’ve inflated two of those giant hamster balls in one corner of the park, have hopscotch, an inflatable obstacle course, a bouncy castle, and a giant Jenga set up in another corner.
>Finally, lots of unhealthy food stands are set up, from ice cream, to all types of fried food, to that Neighsian stuff that’s really greasy and awful for you but really cheap.
>>

>>27896011
>>27896072
>You trot over to the ring toss.
>Surely a strong, capable unicorn pony such as yourself should have no trouble.
“Oh, those are cute!” Voltage says, pointing to the large plush dragon dolls hanging from the ceiling.
>She’s right, they are kind of cute.
>Maybe you’ll win the game twice so you could take one home too.
>She gets the first one, of course.
“Hey, I’d like to play, please,” you tell the young stallion manning the game.
>”Five bits for three plays,” he says matter-of-factly.
>You hoof the stallion the money and he hoofs you three small rings.
>Simple enough, just get the ring around the pop bottle.
>You grab the ring in your TK and hover it towards the pop bottles.
>The stallion manning the station grabs the ring out of your grasp.
“Hey, what gives?”
>”No magic past the wood,” he says, running his hoof along the counter separating you.
“Do I at least get to try again?”
>The stallion rolls his eyes, placing your ring back on the counter.
>Once again, you grab the ring in your magic and toss it, following the rules of the game.
>It simply clatters off.
>Grumbling, you try again.
>The ring misses the tops of the bottles, falling down between four of them.
>You take your last ring in your magic and throw it.
>Holding your breath, you watch it as it bounces off the top of one bottle.
>It flies across the surface, bouncing off another.
>Finally, it falls to the ground.
>”Sorry friend, better luck next time,” he says, examining the back of his hoof.
>You take a quick glance to Wintergreen, and find that she looks a bit disappointed.
>>
>>28002578
Looks like were going to lose a few bits trying to win this game.
One more try.
>>
>>28002578
>inb4 Wintergreen just steals everything for us because of our incompetence at these games
Cue happy carnival date montage scene when.
>>
>>28002578
try it again. we must impress the future super hot gf
>>
>>28002682
>>28002696
>>28002878
>You can’t disappoint her.
“One more try,” you say, digging into your saddlebag.
>You extract five bits and slap them on the counter before receiving three more rings.
>Trying your hardest, you throw all three of them once again before they clatter to the ground.
>You let out a whine as you fail again, turning to Wintergreen with an apologetic look.
>But Wintergreen has stopped watching you so intently, but looks to one of the rings on the ground, then at the pop bottles.
>”Say, can I see one of the rings and bottles?” she asks.
>”Sorry miss, no can do.”
>She gives the stallion a look before letting her face relax.
>”Fine. Come on Tink, let’s go.”
“But I didn’t win you a-“
>”It’s okay, Tink, I’m a little hungry anyway.”
>She shuffles you along, before sitting down behind the stall.
“I thought you said you were hungry?”
>”Hold on,” she says, getting out her saddlebags and extracting a ring and a bottle.
“Did you just steal-“
>”Shh,” she says suddenly, “the toys were too big, otherwise I would have just taken one of those. I just have to confirm my suspicions.”
>Wintergreen places the ring on top of the pop bottle.
>”Aha!” she says, showing the top of the bottle to you. “Look at this, the ring just barely fits on top of the bottle. Tilt it a bit, it bounces off, miss by a quarter inch, it bounces off. Good luck winning that.”
“So you don’t hate me for losing?”
>”Of course not! But let me show you how it’s done,” she says, a confident smile on her face.
(cont.)
>>
>>28002896
>The two of you return to the games, and Wintergreen dominates.
>She holds the ring in her wingtips, then gives it a good spin, throwing it directly sideways.
>The first two throws miss, but the third lands directly on the bottle.
>She does just as well at ski-ball and basketball.
>Next, the two of you move over to the giant hamster balls and get inside them.
>You two ram into each other, diving and flopping about in the hamster ball.
>Dizzy and tired, you two finish the evening by sitting on the curb with a couple ice cream cones, licking away at them as the sun begins to set.
“You know, I had fun tonight.”
>”Me too, Tink, we should do this again sometime!”
>As you sigh in contentment, Wintergreen’s ear twitches.
>”Do you hear that?”
“Hear what?”
>Wintergreen pops up, dropping her ice cream.
“What is it?”
>You hear the sounds of panicked screaming.
>You hop up as well, casting your eyes towards the source of the sound.
>A crowd of ponies is running in your direction, panic obvious in their faces.
>>
>>28002901
Act heroic and tell her you got this. Then after we see what it is, we tactically advance in the opposite direction.
>>
>>28002901
I think we should go.
>>
>>28002917
>>28002923
>You dust yourself off.
>You’re a strong, capable supervillain, you aren’t gonna take shit!
“Don’t worry, I got this.”
>”Tink, I think we should go,” Wintergreen says, flapping her wings.
“No, this is a nice evening, and we don’t need anypony ruining that.”
>The crowd runs past, jostling and pushing you.
>You strike a heroic pose and cast your eyes upon your foe.
>A gray earth pony stallion wearing a red cape rushes towards you.
>He wears a device which covers most of his torso, and a black mask that covers his eyes.
>The device is white and black, and has a clear window on his chest.
>Multi-colored objects spin around inside of it, as well as what appears to be…
>Soap?
>You raise an eyebrow in confusion before noticing the couple dozen ponies lying on the ground immobile.
>Your heroic facade immediately falters and you turn tail and start running.
>Winter does the same, flapping her wings and taking to the air.
>You hear two thunks behind you.
(cont)
>>
>>28003070
>Before you can react, you feel something wet slap against you.
>Turning your gaze down, you find that you’re now wearing a soaking wet long-sleeved shirt which covers most of your upper half.
>Wintergreen wears a rather pretty green blouse, which sags with moisture.
“A… Wet shirt?”
>You turn your head in confusion to the super, only to find a red ball flying at you.
>As you jump away, the ball explodes, bombarding you with waves of uncomfortable heat.
>You can feel your new shirt shrinking and squeezing you tighter and tighter.
>It sweeps your front legs off the ground and attaches them to your torso.
>Your plush toys fall and saddlebags off of you as you collapse to the ground, struggling to try and break the painfully tight clothing.
>Your hind legs kick while your immobile front legs try to break free to no avail.
>You light up your horn to try and rip it, but the shirt resists your efforts.
>A quick glance over to Winter reveals that she’s in a very similar situation with her saddlebags on the ground a few feet away from her, struggling to get free of her very small blouse.
>The super simply laughs evilly as he jumps over your immobile form, chasing after the crowd.
>>
>>28003079
Well then...
Let's follow him if we can. Adventure awaits us.
>>
>>28003079
So this is why Easy hates bag guys who do stuff for fame. Their huge dicks.

Time to strip, find Winter, and get out. Do we have our radio on; maybe we can call for backup?
>>
>>28003149
>bag guys
Ya, I feel you anon. Those bag guys always like to carry your groceries for you so they can steal your money in the form of a tip. Nasty buggers.

Ayyy you're alive!
You fucking cuddleslut.

inb4 this turns out like the sock thing and my typo makes the bad guy into a literal bag guy, whose power involves throwing wet laundry.

>>28003079
A super that make ponies to wear wet clothes that shouldn't be put in the dryer because they will shrink. Absolute mad pony.

What, you didn't see the prick on that guy? It's huge and fearsome!

>Time to strip.
>You struggle against the clothes, trying to break free.
>But they hold firm, preventing you from escaping.
>You let out a disgruntled whine as your hind legs continue kicking fruitlessly.
>You’ve been supervillain fodder quite a few times before.
>It’s not exactly a rare occurrence for ponies that live here to get tied up, knocked out, or otherwise wrapped up in some plot.
>It’s pretty easy to get fed up with it.
>So, as you see it, you have two options:
>1. Wait for some super to come let you go.
>2. Figure out some way to escape.
>and you’re not really coming up with any ideas for the second one.
>Snorting in frustration, you stop struggling and flop to the ground.
>Winter scoots along the ground towards her saddlebag.
“Hey Winter?” you begin.
>”Mmhm?” she says, working at the clasp with her mouth.
“I’m sorry our date had to get ruined.”
>”Oh, don’t be,” she says, opening the bag and stuffing her muzzle inside, “Being caught by a washing machine villain notwithstanding, I had a lot of fun, we should totally do this again sometime!”
“R-really?”
>”Oh totally, I’d love to go out to dinner or a movie or something with you.”
>Your mouth gapes.
>A girl just said she wanted to go out with you.
>Before you can even process it, a knife hits the grass a few feet from your muzzle.
>”Now why don’t you use that bone sticking out of your head to get us out of here?”
“Right.”
(Cont.)
>>
>>28003324
>Your horn lights up, lifting the knife into the air.
>Carefully, you cut the shirt off of you, then you stand and cut the blouse off of Winter.
>The clothes fall to the ground, and you gather up your plush dragon, griffon, and changeling.
>You set your eyes on revenge, turning to run towards the villain.
>Winter holds out a socked hoof in front of you.
>”Where are you going?”
“I’m going to follow him.”
>"Do you even have anything to fight him with?"
>You think to the contents of your saddlebag.
>About 20 bits, a set of keys, a few unfinished projects.
>You lift your hoof towards your ear, ready to call for backup.
>She lifts the sock up to your ear, scratching behind it.
>You shudder in bliss, dropping your hoof.
>”Oh, let somepony else handle it. We have a big day tomorrow, what do you say we both call it an early night?”

dindin, be back in a bit.

Yeah, let's leave it to somebody else.

Say u-hh.... do you want me to go to your place, or did you want to come to my place? O-or should we just part ways for now...

>Your first inclination is just to say ‘sure’ and nothing more.
>But then you realize something.
>That flirtatious tone, scratching your ear, offering to call it an early night.
>She just invited you home with her.
>Or at least you think she did.
>You had better make sure.
“Say uhh, d-do you want me to go to your place, or did you want to come to my place? O-or should I just walk you home?”
>She boops you, giggling as you scrunch.
>”I was thinking the two of us could come to my place and relax.”
>You blush hard.
“Y-yeah, let’s leave it to somebody else,” you say, mentally congratulating yourself for picking up on her social cues.
>She smiles at you, and the two of you head towards Winter’s apartment.
>As you get there, you follow her into the bedroom and she removes her socks before opening her drawer.
>Hundreds of socks stare back at you, each neatly folded in sets of four and organized by color.
>You may have died and gone to heaven.
>You spend the rest of the evening wrapped in a socky embrace, bliss flooding your mind as the mint pony’s socks surround you.
-----
>>
>>28003589
>You are Easy Ride once again.
>and it’s the morning of your interview.
>You’ve just spent another evening cuddling at Voltage’s apartment and are eating breakfast before your interview.
>A faint buzzing comes from your jacket pocket.
>You reach into it with a hoof and extract your earpiece, clipping it onto your ear.
“Sorry, what was that?”
>”Easy, sorry to bother you this early, but something’s come up,” Ice says.
“Well, tell me.”
>”Our bribing the guards plan didn’t work. Winter and I were able to find out who had the shift tonight, and luckily they’re both mares, but they didn’t jump at the money I offered them. Seems like they hired some competent officers for a change.”
“What are you going to do about it?” You ask, slightly impatient.
>”I talked to Winter on the phone just a few minutes ago, and her idea is to go for it anyway. Knock out the officers on their way to work, steal their uniforms, and pose as them. Since you’re kind of the leader of this operation, we wanted to know if you had any other ideas.”
>>
>>28003594
Sounds like a plan to me.
We tried the doing it the nice way, just be careful next time you see them. They could be expecting a return visit.
>>
>>28003594
Can we contact slime guy? I bet he'll be willing to help us. It'll be bonus points if his jar of slime is in the same jail.

>>28003861
“That sounds like a plan to me, we tried doing it the nice way.”
>”Alright, we’ll go through with it.”
“Just be careful next time you see them, they could be expecting a return visit.”
>”Understood. I’ll tell Winter.”
>The receiver switches off, leaving you in silence.
>While you’d like to contact Sludge, he’s hanging out somewhere in the sewers now, and spending a couple hours searching for him might take some time.
>Although…
“Hey Ice, you still there?”
>”Yep, go ahead.”
“If you can find out if Sludge is in that jail, that might be useful.”
>”I’ll try, Easy. I’m not sticking my neck out for him, though.”
“Sure.”
>You finish off your breakfast and kiss Voltage goodbye.
>”See you tonight, Easy.”
“See you tonight.”
>You make your way downstairs and find your bike just as you had left it.
>Giving it a good once-over, you find no bugs.
>You hop onto your bike and make your way to the tv station.
>You leave your bike in a parking garage nearby.
>Unfortunately, you don’t have any better place to put it.
>The news studio is a decently sized gray building with the letters MBS-TV above the door.
>It’s mostly unremarkable, save for the large model of the city out front.
>Walking up to the front desk, you get the mare’s attention.
“Hello, I’m here to see Juicy Scoop?”
>”You’re Easy Ride, yes? I’ll tell her you’ve arrived.”
>She presses a button on her desk’s phone and picks up the receiver.”
>”Mrs. Scoop? Miss Ride is here.”
>A faint buzzing comes from the phone.
>”Alright, I’ll tell her.”
>She hangs up the phone and looks at you.
>”Mrs. Scoop will be right down to see you, if you’d like to take a seat.”
>You sit on one of the lobby chairs and wait.
(cont.)
>>
>>28003861
We'd have to search the whole sewer system to find him, which would waste too much time.
Besides, I think he'd draw too much attention to himself. Where trying to be stealthy, if he made a move I'd be worried about the supers swarming the place.
>>
>>28003991
>Soon a small pegasus mare appears in the hallway.
>She has a light purple coat and dark blue mane that she wears in a bun.
>Scoop has purple-red eyes and wears a pair of glasses over them.
>She holds a pen behind her right ear.
>Her face lights up when she sees you.
>”Oh, hello Easy Ride,” she says, trotting over to you and offering a hoof.
“You must be-“ You say, standing and accepting the hoof.
>”Juicy Scoop, reporter for MBS news, at your service. Now come along, we have a lot to talk about and not much time to do it.”
>She turns and canters long the hallways of the broadcasting station, with you right behind her.
>The two of you come to a comfy-looking room, with two soft chairs facing each other.
>A coffee machine sits on a counter to the side.
>”So, Miss Ride,” she begins, “Unfortunately we don’t have much time for pleasantries, so let’s get right into it. Like I said, we’ll be working together, but this is all about you and the story you want to tell. We’ll talk in here, then move into the room with the cameras afterwards, sound good?”
“Alright.”
>She pulls out a notepad and removes the pencil from her ear.
>”Okay, so let’s begin with what happened three months ago. Let’s hear the story you want everypony to hear. Were you the real victim? Was it an accident? What happened in that apartment that evening? Oh, and help yourself to some coffee, if you’d like.”
>>
Pausing for the evening.

From now on, if I can't do a session at the regular time, I'll just post when I can. Thanks for playing, and I'll see you soon.
>>
>>28003997
>Were you the real victim?
When you think about it, we might have been.
After all, that hero did try to blackmail us into betraying our friends and ambushed us in our own home.

Believe the ultimatum was, join our group and sell out your friends or we expose who you are and send you to jail.
Criminal or not that was a pretty shitty and irresponsible thing to do. A fight could have started and got people hurt...which it did.
>>
>>28003997
Well Recluse seem to use the ponies in the apartment in hope I won't use my power so the fight would be easy for her to beat me. She wasn't wrong about me not using my power, but she couldn't beat me in the fight.
>>
>>28003997
Recluse was overstepping some boundaries. Rather than asking or waiting for a fair fight away from civilians, Recluse went up to us disguised as one of our best friends, walked up into our home uninvited, then attacked us in our own home when we weren't even wearing our costume. We were even going to return the statue back when we realized what it was and what it could do, but Recluse decided to jump to conclusions and came at us anyways.

After that, >>28004094 what this anon said.
>>
>>28004902
I didn't think about it before but in a way, Recluse took that whole apartment hostage.
What was she thinking putting us into a corner like that; of course we'd panic and something bad would happen. That was just bad tactics.

“Now that I think about it, I may have been the victim.”
>”Please tell.”
“Recluse was overstepping some boundaries. Rather than asking for a fair fight away from civilians, she went up to me disguised as one of my best friends, walking inside uninvited, then attacked me in my own home when I wasn’t even wearing my costume.”
>”And why did she feel it was necessary to do so?”
“I took a statue and she was afraid of what I could do with it. However, once I realized what it was and what it could do, I was going to give it back, but she jumped to conclusions and came at me anyways.”
>You sigh as you recall.
“After that, she tried to blackmail me into betraying my friends and joining her group or exposing me and sending me to jail. Criminal or not, she took the whole apartment hostage, which was a pretty shitty and irresponsible thing to do. A fight could have started and gotten a lot of ponies hurt… Which it did.”
>Scoop continues writing as you speak, and you wait for her to finish before you continue.
“She hoped that I wouldn’t use my powers so that she could beat me easily in a fight, but she couldn’t. I guess I just panicked. I don’t know what she was thinking, putting me in a corner like that. “
>You shake your head, sipping some of your coffee.
>Scoop finishes up writing, then looks to you again.
>”So I understand that you spent a good time away from Maretropolis. If I may be so bold, why did you think it necessary to hide? Where did you go? Did you find anything while you were out there? Would you consider yourself a different pony now than you were three months ago?”
>>
>>28009762
>So I understand that you spent a good time away from Maretropolis. If I may be so bold, why did you think it necessary to hide?
After the thing happened, the entire city was out for me. I wouldn't have been able to walk around town at all without being captured, especially since boomerang riled up everyone against me
>Where did you go?
Somewhere in the desert outside of Maretropolis. No need to reveal exactly where
>Did you find anything while you were out there?
May sound clicheé, but I think I found myself. I also started to understand me and my powers a lot better
>Would you consider yourself a different pony now than you were three months ago
Different? Nah. Still doing what it takes to survive while having fun at it. I may have become slightly more responsible though.
>>
>>28009762
Bcause I am but flesh, and I couldn't think straight after what happened. Even with everything I just said, it was still my fire that killed these ponies, and I still bear the responsibility of these deaths
I would probably have gone insane if I didn't get some time to look back on myself
So I got somewhere isolated, and were I wonldn't be able to hurt anyone, and calm enough for me to find to find the answer to this question:
"Ponies died because of me, how do I keep living with that?"
There, I believe I found better answers than to turn myself in, and I decided about what I really wanted to do. Before that, just like many street criminals, I was just selfishly trying to keep my own head out of the water, but now I've decided I've got to help where I can. Even if I will never evenly "pay back" for what I did.
So yes, I'm different in that regard
>>
>>28009762
Why was it necessary to hide?
Well besides being a career thief, my experiences with the law growing up has never been the best. When things like the apartment fire happen, they want a scapegoat. It doesn't matter about the context of what happened, they were going to send me to the asylum no matter what.
They'd paint me as the devil just to make ponies feel better about it. Especially because a "hero" died.
Though just because I feel I was the victim in what happened, doesn't mean I didn't feel bad about what happened. That's why I've been trying to make up for it by stopping crazy ponies who wouldn't care.

I'd rather not say where I went after, but what I did was spend most of my time just trying to get a better hold on my powers; to prevent something like that from happening again. So yeah I've changed a bit. I'm more careful and principles I've held before all this I feel ring truer now.

“Well, besides being a career thief, my experiences with the law growing up have never been the best. It doesn’t matter what the context was, they were going to send me to the asylum no matter what.”
>You pause for a moment, allowing her to catch up.
“They’d paint me as the devil just to make ponies feel better about it, especially because somepony seen as a hero died. However, just because I feel I was the victim doesn’t mean I don’t feel bad. That’s why I’m trying to make up for it by stopping crazy ponies who wouldn’t care.”
>”Which of course explains why you went after the Pharaoh and more recently, that superhero factory.”
“Exactly. But going back a few steps, I think I would have gone insane if I didn’t get some time to look back on myself. I don’t want to say where I went, but it was somewhere isolated, where I get a better hold on my powers without hurting anypony, and somewhere where I could find the answer to this question: ‘ponies died because of me, how do I keep living knowing that?’”

>”Did you find the answer?”
“I believe I did. Better answers than turning myself in, at least. I found what I wanted to do, and I found myself, though it might sound a little cliché. Before then, like most criminals, I was just trying to keep my own head out of the water, but now I’ve decided I have to help pay back where I can, even if I can’t ever evenly pay back for what I did.”
>”So would you say you’re a different pony?”
“I’m still doing what it takes to survive while having fun at it, but I think I’ve changed a bit. I’m more careful and responsible, I think, and I feel that all the principles I’ve held before all this ring truer now than they ever have.”
>”This may be a difficult question, and I could exclude it if you don’t want to answer, but here goes,” she says, adjusting her glasses, “If the victims’ surviving family members were here with us today, and you had the chance to say something to them, what would you tell them? Also, I’m certain you’re aware that some ponies would very much like to see you answer for your crimes, perhaps spend the rest of your life behind bars. Would you like to say anything to them?”
>>
>>28010198
I'm sorry and I regret. There's nothing more I could say without being an hypocrit, and I know it means nothing at all for them.
But saddly, there's nothing more I can offer.
That's why I'm trying to avoid such tragedies to happen to other people. I'm not pretending I can understand how my victims feel, but I know I don't want more people to feel like that.
>>
>>28010198
To the victims of surviving family members, I'd just say I'm sorry. They'res really nothing else I can do or say that would make it better. If I could turn back time and change something I would but I can't.
And to those who'd like to put me behind bars. Frankly, I don't think much difference can be made by putting me in a cell, so I'm going to opt out, but feel free to try and catch me. But as a warning, I hid because I didn't want to hurt anyone not because I couldn't handle myself.

“But to those who would like to see me behind bars, I frankly don’t think putting me in a cell would make a lot of difference, so I’m going to opt out. But feel free to catch me, if you think you can.”
>You continue, dead serious.
“As a warning, I hid because I didn’t want to hurt anyone, not because I can’t handle myself.”
>Scoop giggles as she writes. “Well I certainly wouldn’t want to mess with you, I can tell you that much.”
“Do you have anything more for me?”
>”Well,” she begins, running her hoof down her pad, “I’m actually about out of questions. Do you think you’ve said everything you want to say? Is there anything else you’d like to add to the question list before we get in front of the cameras?”
>>
Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to cut things short. It seems to be pretty slow today anyway. I'll probably do some more updates late tonight. See you guys.
>>
>>28010611
Heh. We could always say how Boomerang basically betrayed her own secret supplier for stolen magic orbs in a desperate attempt to get us. And that she's basically doing everything she can to find an excuse to accuse us as a ruthless villain and fight us.
>>
>>28010751
I was thinking more on how Boomerang did nothing at all into find where we went for those three mounth just to send us to jail, but all she did was go on the news and say how I should be in jail and that she the hero that can stop me.
>>
>>28011155
Don't forget about how she sent a ton of small time heroes after us; using them as cannon fodder. When we were supposed to be ppotentially lethal.
>>
So are we calling out Boomerang last minute as the camera is still rolling, or are we just going to tell Scoop that we're calling her out and giving the time and place?
>>
>>28010600
Say we have a message for the hag who's been demonizing us and sending small-time heroes at us. If Boomerang wants to get even with us then she can do it herself at Town Hall at 8 pm.
>>
>>28010600
Boomerang's gone off the deep end, but I'm sure a lot of ponies know that already.

“Oh, I have several things I’d like to say.”
>”By all means,” she says, motioning with a hoof for you to go ahead.
“Boomerang’s gone off the deep end, but I’m sure a lot of ponies know that already.”
>”They’ve taken notice, trust me.”
“Then I’d like to send a message to the hag who’s been demonizing me and sending small heroes at me as cannon fodder, even when she thought I was lethal. The pony who betrays her own suppliers in a desperate attempt to get me. If Boomerang wants to get even with me, she can do it herself tonight. Town hall, 8 PM.”
>”Very well. I believe that’s all I have. You ready to go?”
“Yes, I am.”
>”Then let’s go.”
>The two of you stand, heading to a recording studio.
-----
“…If Boomerang wants to get even with me, she can do it herself at the town hall. Tonight at 8 PM, I’ll be there.”
>”Well it appears the gauntlet has been thrown. Best of luck tonight Easy, we’ll be rooting for you.”
“Thank you.”
>The two of you stare at each other for a moment before someone says ‘Cut,’ and the two of you stand.
>”Now, we have some legal garbage to get through.”
>Somepony produces a contract and pen and brings it to you.
>It’s a relatively small contract, just a couple pages long.
>”I’ll just need you to sign on the back page. It’s just a release form, saying you give us the right to use the footage we just got, all that garbage. Right underneath that, if we could get your legal address, that’s also where we’ll be sending the check. If it’s confidential, that’s alright, we wouldn’t dream of selling you out.”
>She adjusts her glasses.
>”Also, if you don’t mind, we’d like to send a camera crew out to town hall tonight and grab some footage. Is that okay with you?”
>>
>>28012119
>Is that okay with you?
No.
>>
>>28012119
I guess we should give them Volt's address seeing how we don't legally live anywhere, and she actually has a mailbox.

As for the cameras, she can feel free to come. Just try to stay safe, things might get crazy.
>>
>>28012119
Sure. Just uh.... bring some heat suits or something. And as long as I don't get blamed for any injury given to them from being in the way.
>>
>>28012119
On the way home, I think we should pick up those colored ball things we got.
Maybe we can take a moment to test them out on our targets, they could come in handy.
>>

Our legal home burned down, should we just give an address we'll be able to receive the check from?

>”Will do, I’ll tell our camera crew to be careful.”
“Also, my legal home burned down.”
>”I’m very sorry, I didn’t realize that-“
“It’s okay. But should I just put down an address where I can receive the check?”
>”I guess that’s alright.”
>You scribble down your signature and Voltage’s address, then hand the contract back to the mare.
>”Alright!” She says, standing and offering a hoof. “You’re free to go, and we’ll get that check mailed to you as soon as we can.”
>You shake her hoof.
“Thanks for the interview.”
>”Oh no, thank you, Miss Ride. If you ever have another story to tell, be sure to keep in touch!”
“I’ll think about it,” you say simply.
>The two of you bid each other goodbye and you make your way back to the garage, the interview ringing in your mind.
>After more than six months, you’re finally going to face Boomerang one on one.
>A fair fight between the two of you, for once on your terms.
>The thought excites you above all else.
(cont.)
>>
>>28012518
>You return to the garage, the idea of practice on your mind.
>Grabbing the colored balls that you stole from the light hero, you set up your target and throw one of each.
>You start with the black ball.
>As it impacts on the target, a heavy black fog bursts forth, obscuring all your vision of the metal target.
>After a minute, it begins to wisp away, leaving black marks on the floor and target.
>Next you throw the white ball.
>It hits the target and a bright white light shoots forth, hurting your eyes.
>You instinctively slam them shut, rubbing them to rid them of the pain.
>A few seconds later, your eyesight comes back.
>Finally, you throw the red ball.
>It explodes on the target, not unlike your fire grenades.
>In all, it appears as though these little balls don’t do anything that you can’t do, but they do them more quickly and with less effort.
>May as well keep them.
>As you stuff them into your saddlebag, you trot over to the kitchen, where you find Storm and Volt waiting.
>”Hey Eez,” Storm begins, “We know you might be tired of planning and all that, but Volt and I were wondering-“
>”What exactly you want us to do tonight,” Voltage says. “I know you want us along, but do you want us to just hang back and let you handle Boomerang? If it’s just her, when do you want us to jump in? Do you want us to take care of any other supers so you can be alone with her?”
>”Oh, and you wouldn’t happen to need any weather, would you? Cause I can totally handle that.”
>>
>>28012531
We should keep it one on one if we can. The weather should be dry. It'd be nice if we're able to beat her, but the fight is to distract them during the breakout so if the fight doesn't look like it's going to end soon or favorably they could help us escape.
>>
>>28012531
If Boomerang doesn't bring anybody with her then Volt and Storm should stand back and out sight to let us handle boomerang.

Volt should be on stand by so she can hit Boomer with one of those paralysing darts. That way we can do what we need to do and make a getaway if the rescue crew gets done before we beat Boomerang.

As for a weather request, as hot as possible would be nice. That flame resistant suit she has also keep's heat in, so we need to tire her out in any way we can. Plus we just fight better in hot weather anyway.
>>
>>28012531
How hot can you make the weather at 8pm without making it humid?
>>
Alright, gonna actually call it an evening here.

Thanks for playing, and see you tomorrow!
>>
>>28012531
>Do you want us to take care of any other supers so you can be alone with her?
This is good too, the last thing we need is a bunch of glory seeking rookies, making a mess of things.
>>
>>28012811
Bump. Also, activate dragon mode before we start.
>>
>>28013682
No we should fight her as a pony, not a dragon.
>>
>>28015008
That's dumb.
She's not holding back so we shouldn't either.
>>
>>28015660
being a dragon hold us back for most of our power and she might take advantage of the dragon greed to get an upper hand on us.
>>
>>28015796
Being a dragon doest hold back our power it made it stronger and gave us more control, besides we'll need the extra defence that'll come with it.
We've resisted greed before so I'm not worried about it, especially because she doesn't even know about our dragon power.
>>
>>28015796
That's a lie. W-we don't have dragon greed.
>>
>>28015827
>wanting to be stronger.
>not making our fireballs chase her every time she try to dodge them.
we have more control with our fire as a pony then we do as a dragon pony.
>>
>>28016102
Our ability to move our fire around hasn't been stated to be changed while in dragon form.

The only thing I could find that changed was that it was slightly harder to make it appear from thin air. Besides we can just shoot fireballs from our mouth, in fact, we can do it faster than we could from our hooves.
>>
>>28016783
Why don't we test it out right now, can we control the fire as a dragon like we did as a pony? Like doing a ring of fire around us like we did while at the desert.
>>
>>28016947
Sounds fine to me.
May as well use the time we have left, to warm up for the fight.

(and quite a few more)
“That depends. How hot can you make the weather at 8PM without it being humid?”
>”Without humidity? I can’t change the temperature. If I could move the sun, that’d be different, but I also think we’d have different problems.”
“Then make it as dry as you can get it.”
>”I can do that.”
“Good. Then here’s the plan. If Boomerang comes alone, then Volt and Storm should stand back and out of sight to let me handle her. If the rescue crew gets done before I win, then use one of Tink’s darts to keep her from following, does that make sense?”
>Both Volt and Storm nod.
“And if Boomerang’s not alone, you two will have to hold your own, just make sure you keep them off of me.”
>”Right, we’ll keep them off of you, you just focus on winning that fight.”
“Speaking of, I’m gonna go get some practice in.”
>Voltage yawns.
>”Alright, I think I’ll take a nap. I’ll be borrowing your bed if you need me, Easy.”
>”Me too. But my own bed, not yours.”
>You nod and heada back over to your practice area.
>Pulling out your statue, you look into its eyes and soon find yourself as a dragon.
>Time for some practice.
(cont.)
>>
>>28018252
>You spend an hour or so learning the limits of your dragon form.
>In your regular form, fireballs take some time to cast.
>It takes a few seconds to call them up and then throw them, or will them where you want them to go.
>But as a dragon, it’s as simple as opening your mouth.
>Testing your theory, you shoot a fireball off to the right of the target and try to curve it in.
>It takes a bit of effort, but it curves through the air, hitting the target.
>From what you know of yourself, you find that it’s more difficult to freely move the fireball in the air, but they’re simpler to make and use much less energy.
>You close your eyes and breathe out a few fireballs.
>You allow them to hover around you faster and faster until you have a ring of fire around you.
>It’s difficult and takes a good deal more concentration than it usually does.
>So as far as you know, while you’re a dragon, you’re stronger and more resilient, while as a pony, you have more direct and intimate control of your fire, but a fair bit squishier.
>You look at the clock.
>There’s still a couple hours before the evening news even airs, and then a couple hours still before you have to fight Boomerang.
>Is there anything else you’d like to practice or perhaps try while being a dragon?
>>
No explicit session right now, but I can get maybe a post or two out.
>>
>>28018260
Lets focus on enhancing our senses while we're a dragon. If I remember correctly they weren't as good and we shouldn't tire ourself out before a big fight. It might even enhance our ability as a pony since it's more difficult.
>>
>>28018260

>You did grab a quick bite while you were talking to Volt and Storm, so you’re not hungry at the moment.
>Trotting on over to the bathroom, you turn on the shower and turn your flames up.
>Steeling yourself, you walk into the wash.
>You inhale sharply as the water hits your mane, hissing on contact.
>An uncomfortable sensation washes over you, as if you’re being smothered.
>Reflexively, you step out of the shower, recoiling away from the water.
>It’s not outright painful, like it is when you’re not a dragon, but it’s very much uncomfortable.
>However, if you were hit by a sizeable blast of water either as a dragon or pony, you’re pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to concentrate on controlling fire.
>You take a few seconds to turn down your flames before turning the water off.
>Returning to the main area, you spend time meditating.
>Expanding your mind, all that hippie crap.
>You sit on your rump, curl your tail around you, and close your eyes.
>Normally, you have a pretty intimate connection with your own fire and that of the world around you.
>But while you’re a dragon, it just seems dulled.
>You can still see Tinker working at his new computer, the orbs you carry with you, and the faintest glimmer of Volt and Storm resting in the bedroom, but your vision is hampered, like you’re looking at everything through a mesh.
>But you keep at it, focusing on tiny pieces of magic and trying to connect with them, sharing with them.
>It doesn’t tire you out physically at all, and you let the hours pass by in intense, unbreakable concentration.
(cont.)

>About an hour later, Tinker taps on your shoulder, and you leave your meditative state, opening your eyes to see Tink looking at you with a nervous grin.
>In the other screen, you can hear the intro to the 6 o’ clock news playing.
>Just a couple hours to go.
>”Hey Easy, I just wanted to talk to you about tonight.”
“Sure,” you say, standing up. What about?”
>”Actually, my thing is done for tonight, I just wanted to make sure it works.”
>He grabs your helmet off of your bike and hoofs it to you, “Put your helmet on.”
“Okay?” you say, taking the helmet and plopping it on.
>Tinker hits some buttons on his keyboard, and a video screen pops up, showing Tinker and the video screen.
>An infinite hallway is visible on the monitor.
>”Look away please.”
>”Just flip through your visors for me, okay?”
“Sure,” you say, flipping through your night vision and thermal sight.
>”Everything’s looking good!” Tinker says, spinning around in his swivel chair. “You’ll be on this monitor, and the jail will be on the other one.”
>You cast a glance to the TV.
>Your interview is playing.
>”Hey guys!” Tinker says, calling Storm, Ice, and Volt over, “I wanted to go over your stuff too.”
>Tinker produces a pair of small devices and places them on the table.
>”You’ll want to relay this to Wintergreen, Ice. This is how you’ll get me into the jail. Attach one of these to a camera without being seen, and it should give me access to their system. I’ll be able to tell you where to go, but the rest is up to you”
>Ice nods, pocketing the devices.
>”Very well. I’m going to go meet up with Wintergreen. Best of luck, you three,” Ice says, nodding to you and heading towards the exit.
>>
>>28027594
Let's go back to pony form for now. I think control would be better than just burning everything. After all, it's the town hall we'll be at.
>>
>>28027594
Let be a pony for this fight, can't let her or the public know about our new dragon form just yet.
>>
>>28027594
We should stay as a dragon for the defence and stamina. Boomerang is going to be exploiting our weaknesses, and we need to outlast her. We can put out any fires with our magic lighter.

Besides, she still has us beat in range combat because she's more versatile, so we should try to take that way from her in close combat cause we're stronger.
Too much of that will exhaust her easily.

“So Tink,” you begin, “How did your date go?”
>”It went great!” He says, “Thanks for introducing us!”
“No problem, Tink. Do anything fun?”
>”A couple things. She won some prizes for me, we had a great evening together. Supervillain attack, but what else is new? Then she took me back to her place and…”
>Tinker’s eyes glaze over.
>You wave a hoof in front of his eyes, and he refocuses.
>”S-sorry, we did stuff.”
“I’m glad it worked out for you, Tink!” You say, clapping him on the back, “Are you guys gonna have a second date?”
>”I-I think so,” he says, his cheeks turning red.
“Attaboy.”
>”R-right.”
“Now I think it’s time for us to go, Right Volt, Storm?”
>They both give you a nod, and the three of you roll out, you and Volt on your motorcycle, and Storm in the air.

>A few moments later, you arrive at the city hall and take in the environment.
>The town hall building sits at one side of a grass lawn, a couple hundred feet on any side.
>Next to the town hall is a multi-tiered fountain.
>Several walkways and trees dot the lawn, but most of the trees and benches are near the sides, allowing for a pretty open area.
>Not bad for fighting, actually.
>A few ponies mill about the lawn, some sitting down, some playing a late game of Frisbee.
>Surrounding the lawn are four streets, and beyond that, tall, 10 to 50-story office buildings.
>By now, most of the buildings are pretty much empty, only the ponies who’ve stayed late still remaining.
>By 8, you think that they’ll be totally empty.
>You look around the area for any supers that may be hiding out.
>Your hideout is north from here.
>Voltage hops off your bike, and you do the same.
>Already, you catch Storm up in the sky with her hooves lifted upwards.
>You’re not sure exactly what she’s doing, but the air does feel pretty dry, especially for a summer night.
>Voltage looks to you, unsure of where you want her to go.
>Also, there’s the problem of how you want to appear when she shows up.
>First impressions are everything, after all.
>There is still about an hour before 8 o’ clock, but you don’t know how early Boomerang will arrive.
>>
>>28028453
Use magic vision; Boomerang might be hiding.
Tell Volt to find an alleyway or building to hide in.

As for how we appear I guess we can just keep our helmet on and meditate on the lawn.
Need to get mentally prepared for this.
>>
>>28028594
Also, we should probably move our bike to a place out of the way of the fight area.
>>
>>28028594
>>28028614
“Volt, find an alleyway or building to hide in. Somewhere you can see the fight and get away if you need. Take my bike with you.”
>She nods, and takes an alleyway off to the west of the lawn.
>You activate your earpiece and check in.
“How you doing, Ice and Wintergreen? Can you hear me?”
>”Loud and clear, Easy. Got our uniforms and we’re good to go.”
“No trouble, I hope?”
>”Nope. They felt a little chilly, so they’re staying home for the night.”
>You roll your eyes.
“Boomerang should be here soon, I’ll tell you when she is. You there, Tink?”
>”Yep, everything’s normal on my end.”
“Good. Tell Ice and Winter when Boomerang shows up, they might hear me and catch onto our plan.”
>”Will do, Easy.”
>Taking a seat in the middle of the field, you close your eyes and look around.
>Everything is so much clearer when you’re a pony.
>You can see Storm overhead, tiny droplets of water moving towards her, forming a cloud above her head.
>She then flaps her wings, and a gust of air takes it away, floating across the city.
>Voltage waits in an alleyway, watching the lawn carefully.
>But you don’t see Boomerang.
>As you continue waiting, the lawn empties, but ponies begin to show up.
>Cop cars with flashing lights block off the roads, and news crews begin to set up cameras.
>The sun dips down below the horizon, casting a dim orange glow over the city.
(cont.)
>>
>>28028918
>Soon enough, a pink car pushes its way through one of the streets, a news crew hastily moving out of the way.
>The car pulls to the south end of the square and drives up onto the lawn, flattening the grass beneath the tires.
>You look at the car with your sight.
>No less than ten orbs power it, and the whole car is lit up with magic.
>Most prominent, however, are two cannons hidden underneath the hood.
>One pony steps out, and begins walking towards you, and you sneak a peek.
>She wears a helmet with a full red facial visor.
>Her navy blue jumpsuit appears thicker than it had been when you last saw her.
>Several boomerangs hang from her side, each with a blinking red dot in the center.
>Some device rests on her back, and closing your eyes reveals two glowing blue tubes that connect from the similarly colored device down to her hooves.
>Your microphone buzzes in your ear.
>”Boomerang’s there. No word on Dollar yet.”
>As you close your eyes once again, you find somepony on top of city hall.
>A brown unicorn stands on top of city hall, looking down at you.
>Shining in his magical grasp, a single bit twirls idly in the air.
>Boomerang stops her advance about thirty feet away from you, and stands there, saying nothing.
>>
>>28028923

>You stand, dusting yourself off and opening your eyes.
“So, is your new boytoy on top of the hall going to join in or is this actually going to be a one on one?”
>You move to the right out of the line of fire of the cannons, and Boomerang continues, the two of you circling each other, waiting for the other to make a move.
>”He’s my insurance policy,” Boomerang explains, “In the off chance you beat me or try to run.”
“I have your guarantee he won’t interfere?”
>”He won’t need to.”
“You seem sure of yourself.”
>”I’ve been waiting for this a long time, Easy Ride,” she spits. “To expose you as the fraud you are, to make sure you pay for the lives you’ve taken. The last two times we met were flukes, cheap shots. Trust me, it won’t happen again.”
>The two of you continue circling.
>You hear Ice’s voice in her ear.
>”We’re going in, good luck Easy.”
>You keep an eye on the Boomerangmobile, making sure that you don’t turn your back to it.
>Before you pass in front of it, you stop.
>Boomerang notices your sudden change in movement and brings her hoof forward, pointing at you.
>A decent sized blast of water flies from her hoof, and you dive out of the way, narrowly avoiding it.
>You create a whip of fire and place it in your mouth.
>Snapping it in Boomerang's direction, it whips her outfit, causing her to recoil slightly from the hit, but the padding takes most of the blow.
>Next, you look for cover that you could easily run to.
>There are a couple trees near you that are thick enough to hide behind.
>The fountain is further away, but it's pretty wide and about two feet tall at its base.
>Finally, there's city hall itself, but it's pretty far away you don't think that hiding around the corner would offer great cover.

Fraud, look at the pot calling the kettle black, with all those fancy stolen goods she's sporting. Which she can thank two-bit for by the way.

Let's fake her out with two small fire bolts and send another metal melting condensed blast curved and aimed at her water pack. We should try to take that thing out of the game.
>>
>>28029336
Boomerang and her stuff may be fire proof, but heat is still damaging.

Start increasing the air temperature of the surrounding area. A nice 800+ degrees should exhaust her and overheat her car. It'll also prevent much water and ice from forming anywhere.
>>
>>28029429
Taking out the water pack is a good idea. The fire and the heat from the fire will turn it into steam, and make the water warmer. The only problem I can think of is that the steam will be trapped, which will cause the pressure in the tanks to rise. Making it... burst.

The burst can be deadly, depending on what the tanks are made out of, how much pressure is in the tank, and how much pressure can the tank resist. If it can resist a lot of pressure then there will be more steam and more pressure; which, will result in a bigger and slightly more painful burst.

The more you know!
>>
>>28029520
She seems heavily armored, so I'm not too worried about a steam burst killing her.
But at the least maybe we could melt the cords connected to her hooves.
Also, we've hit people hard enough with a wrench where it should have killed them but we just knock them out because that's what we wanted to happen.
So I figured as long as our intent was clear we would be using that same cartoon/comic logic.

>Your eyes fall on the device on her back.
>There’s no way she could fit that much water inside that small thing, let alone carry it around.
>Yet she’s not exactly being conservative.
>Orbs, mare.
>They’ve gotta have some limit to them, at least.
>Putting that thing out of commission should be a priority for you.
>You turn up your flames, beginning to heat the surrounding air.
>While you’d like to make the whole courtyard 800 degrees, applying that much heat to an open space that big would drain you quickly.
>Or it would require you to stand still for a good while, a luxury that you don’t think you have.
“Look at the pot calling the kettle black,” you scoff, “with all those stolen goods you’re sporting?
>You form a couple fireballs, getting ready to throw them.
>”If you’re talking about the orbs, they’re mine twice over. I pay for every shipment twice. I pay the supplier, and then I pay your friend. Asshole steals them every month and I can afford it anyway.”
“Then why fuck him over now?”
>”Because I knew the easiest path to you was through the villains you call friends.”
>Having had enough of her bullshit, you throw the two fireballs and ready a third, more powerful one, throwing it high.
>Boomerang turns her hooves to the fireballs, sending a blast of water at each.
>With a hiss, they dissipate into nothing but steam.
>The third begins to fall towards her.
>Boomerang tries to run away from the projected impact site, but sees the fireball arcing towards her and turns a water blaster to it.
>She was just too late, and it lands on the sleeve of her suit, still burning.
>Quickly, she turns a short burst of water to it, extinguishing the flames.
>She grabs a Boomerang and throws it into the air.
>As it whirls off behind you, she turns her water cannons on you, firing a steady stream of water to your side.
>She begins sweeping it towards you, leading you back towards her car.
>>
>>28029686

We're not stupid, Boomerang. If you think we're going to let that hit us in the back of the head as it comes back, you've got another thing coming.

>>28029799
If she's using giant water canons, I'm guessing they're popped out of her hood or something. We should throw a fire grenade in an opening in the car for extra damage.

Hey to the nerdy physics anon who made this post.>>28029520

Since Easy's power is just causing air to combust to make fire. Could we, in theory, cause an air pressure explosion instead of just burning air, like in the related pic?

But with less fiery explosion and more air pressure burst.
I bet an invisible shot would be pretty handy.
>>
>>28035559
Nerdy physics anon here.

Yes, yes you can. People have made explosions by air pressure before so, it is possible.

However, it is harder to do that just burning the air. And, instead of an explosion it makes a blast wave; which, functions much like the shock wave of a nuclear explosion.

The blast wave is then followed by a blast wind with a negative charge. Instead of blowing things away, the blast wind will suck things in towards the center of the blast.

The blast wave is extremely harmful; especially if one is in the center of the blast wind.

The blast wave and wind will be like a C-4 or Semtex going off for those that want a picture of what it would be like.

Real-life examples would be like WWII: A condition known as Blast Lung was caused by these blast waves when a vehicle exploded next to them. Blast Lung usually had these symptoms: Collapsed lungs, limb injures, eye and ear injuries, and traumatic brain injury; these conditions got worst because of the heavy armor soldiers wore during the time.
>>
>>28035559
>Invisible shot
That got me thinking, what if we could create near-invisible beams of heat and focus it in a direction?

Like instead of making the whole area 800 degrees, we could just focus a beam of pure heat towards Boomerang?
>>
>>28035640
Ok then, so it's possible just hard.
Cool, so given that this fight is taking place in a cartoony/less serious comic world; we should be able to do that minus the nasty real-world stuff.
But I guess we'd have to ask Linkeh about it.

I love it when we get along physics anon, you make my crazy fantasies possible.
>>
>>28035701
>>28035559
Forgot to mention the invisible shot

I'm sorry to say that a invisible shot is not possible. The only way to do this is to make so small that it's light can't be seen; at that point it would be so small, it would make a black hole since it is now smaller than an atom and it could disrupt some atoms.

Near-invisible is possible; though it would be much like a ghost; hard to see but, it you look at it long enough, you can.

Focusing heat in it is possible too. But, chemically; it'd need to use hydrogen faster than any star could to produce a large amount of heat.

>>28035761
Indeed. Hilariously, I didn't even know I was this good at physics. It's the only science that I'm good at. XD
>>
>>28035791
So we'd need to distract her and use the heat bomb out of her cone of vision; cause we can't make it too small?
>>
>>28035914
If it's smaller than an atom; you risk making a black hole. Anything bigger than an atom is okay!
>>
>>28035943
>Not wanting to make a black hole under her car
Cmon anon.
>>
>>28036423
Anon if we completely destroy the car how are we suppose to steal it and take all the sweet gear.
>>
>>28036488
I guess you're right. I probably don't wanna be around when an atom sized black hole sucks up a dozen orbs overfilled with magic anyways.
>>
>>28036509
It'd do worse than steal some orbs.
It would only last five seconds but, in that time it will: completely take the car, rip atoms off of your body, take your skin and organs, take some of the oxygen, and then collapse. All in the span of five seconds.
>>
>>28036584
That's pretty cool.
Even if it's super scary.

>If Boomerang thinks that boomerang is gonna hit you, she has another thing coming.
>For now, you make a dive for cover, jumping behind an oak tree.
>As you get ready to dive out the other side, she creates a second stream, effectively trapping you behind it.
>You keep your eye out for the Boomerang, but it isn’t coming back.
>It simply embeds itself near the top of city hall.
>You hear the Boomerangmobile’s engine rev, and a much larger blast of water strikes the tree.
>A loud rush of water surrounds you on either side, but you back up to the tree, finding yourself relatively safe in the slipstream.
>That doesn’t stop small bits of water from buffeting you, but it should provide enough breathing room to focus.
>You close your eyes and focus on a single spot beneath the hood as water surrounds you.
>The cannons stick out of the top of the hood, but the engine isn’t exposed.
>You should be able to weasel your way in, though.
>You can’t quite make a black hole, nor would you want to, but you try to make a heat bomb, compressing air pressure.
>With your eyes closed, you see Boomerang throw three more boomerangs, which stick to buildings to the south, east, and west of the square.
>The bomb continues to grow, distorting the air around it.
>Finally, you simply can’t contain it any more.
(cont.)
>>
>>28037479
>And then it bursts.
>The force of the blast blows the car apart, throwing pieces across the lawn.
>While your explosion wasn’t incendiary something big ignites, lighting up the square in blue, red, and white flames.
>You instinctively cover your ears from the blast.
>Windows shatter across the square.
>Newsponies and police dive for the cover of their vehicles.
>Before you have time to recover, the air rushes back in, throwing you against the tree.
>It’s painful, but you’ll live.
>Your heart is pounding and there’s a ringing in your ear.
>”Are you alright, Easy?” Comes Tinker’s worried voice, muffled and distant.
“Fine,” you say, getting to your hooves.
>”Keep at it, Easy. You got this.”
>Metal is strewn about the lawn, most of it centered on the blast point, which still burns.
>Boomerang shakily gets to her hooves.
>Her thick suit is torn and tattered, cuts visible underneath, and a piece of metal is embedded in her visor.
>That explosion wasn’t pleasant for you, she must have had it much worse.
>She narrows her eyes at you, saying nothing.
>Then she makes a run for the fountain to the north of the square, keeping her gaze locked on you.
>The air seems to be getting humid.
>>
>>28037496
>4 boomerangs hanging on buildings simply waiting on command to flank us at the right moment
Still not fallin' for it mate, sorry.

She's running to a fountain, eh? Well what if we put some hot steam in her face then? Her suit has opening too, it'll put some burns in her.
>>
>>28037496
Look like she going to refill her waterpack to shoot us some more.
I say a good hoof to hoof combat to remove that this will help us.
>>
>>28037496
That was badass.
We have to save that trump card again for a rainy day.

Let's stop her from getting to that fountain. Perhaps a flame low-cost flame missiles sent her way will stop her.
One of which should be a flash bang. Once we stun her we can finish her off in melee and go for the K.O.
>>
>>28037787
When we go into close combat I think we should be in dragon form to overpower her.
We'd also be able to shrug off any boomerangs she sends at us.

Unless anyone else has some ideas for dealing with those things.
>>
>>28037859
the first time we fought her she was really weak, so dragon form would be overkill on our part.
>>
>>28037859
I just had a thought, those boomerangs are stuck pretty far away. Even in dragon form a hit like that would probably hurt.

What if we change forms if our flame attacks don't attract them, and it turns our there, not heat seeking like we first assumed. Then we'd probably have no choice but to try and get out of the way or power trough them.

>>28037496
Tell storm to take care of Bottom Doller if he starts to get in the way.
>>
Well, if city hall is to the north, she has a boomerang in each cardinal direction.
I don't know what she's setting up, but it might be a good idea to dislodge one of them.
Do we even have anything that long range?
I'm reticent to call in a favor from one of our friends if that'd invite Boomerang's partner to enter the fray.

>She’s weak, dragon form would be overkill.
>You wrap yourself in flame and rush forward, trying to end this quickly with a hard swing.
>However, it seems she’s not as disoriented as you hoped, simply bringing up a hoof to block.
>Thinking you see an opening, you throw another hoof and it hits her square in the chest.
>She doesn’t even flinch, bringing her hoof forward and blasting you with water.
>You cry out as the freezing spray washes over you, suffocating you and sapping the magic from your body.
>Immediately, your heart rate skyrockets.
>Bringing a hoof up, your back soon hits the ground as water continues to pummel you.
>Focusing through the pain, Boomerang seems to be backing up towards the fountain.
>You create another grenade and drop it in the fountain, causing boiling water to splash over Boomerang.
>She inhales sharply and the water washes over her, burning her cuts.
>You’ve bought yourself a few seconds, at least?”
>”Easy,” Storm begins, “I know this isn’t a good time, but I promise I’m not doing this.”
>You look up, finding that rainclouds are beginning to circle above the arena.

This is probably a cause of all the water we've been evaporating.

We'd need to finish Boomer first or get rid of that fountain.
>>
>>28038789
We could become a dragon while having our flames turned off. All of her attacks only counter fire and not much else it seems, but if we become a dragon without flames, we'll have superior physical force to beat her while she only has water weapons.

And dragging in Bottom Dollar and our friends could turn City Hall into a battleground. Then someone stronger would end up interfering before we all destroy the park.

Yeah still sounds like blackmail to me. It was join or jail time.
After all, she did know our identity.
Still, we should apologize for what happened everything just went way too crazy, way too fast. I don't think anyone wanted her to get axed.

“I wasn’t keen on going back there, especially so soon after being released for braining Boomerang.”
>”You misunderstand. I’m wondering how you were threatened with jail in the first place.”
“Oh. She trapped me in goo to the point where I could hardly breathe, then told me that you wanted me. If I said no, she said she was going to turn me in and be the hero herself. She even turned into me. Did she make her own call on that one?”
>He sighs, shaking his head.
>”Yes, I suppose she did, if she threatened you with jail. I can tell you, she had no intention of turning you in that night. Perhaps she wanted to scare you into rushing to your friends’ aid, to lead her to your hideout unintentionally. I guess I can’t say. Jail may have been to follow in the days to come, but not that evening.”
“I’m sorry, I don’t know what else to say.”
>”You don’t blame a cornered dog for biting, Easy. I won’t lie that she was a good friend and I miss her very much.”
“I’m really sorry. Everything just went crazy way too fast. I didn’t want her to die, it just… Happened.”
>”I’m sure you didn’t,” he says softly, his eyes turned down. “For what it’s worth, you seem like a decent enough lass.”
“Thank you. It means a lot.”
>”But if you’d like, I’m sure we have space for you. With us, you wouldn’t have to resort to crime to keep your head out of the water.”
“You’re still inviting me to join you after all this?”
>”Well, I won’t say that I didn’t harbor my share of revenge afterwards, and I thought long and hard about what I'd do to you when I saw you, but you’ve done your level best to move on, and make yourself better in spite of it. And I’d be willing to let it go too. We’d sure appreciate you around.”
>”Easy,” Tink says, “They’re out and on the road.”
>>
>>28040026
No
>>
>>28040026
Sorry, but despite whatever misgivings he has about two-bit the others are family.
You can't betray your family.

Besides when it comes to stopping ponies gone over the edge like Boomer or making sure someone on our side of the law doesn't get in over their heads.
I think the best place to do that is in our weird spot in the middle, as an outlaw.
>>
>>28040026
Sorry, we can't. As much as we'd love to help save lives to make up for our past mistakes, we would rather stick with our friends. When We first got out of jail, your brother and his friends were the ones that brought me back on my feet. We can't just abandon them for money and fame.

It's kind of funny though. If it was you and not your brother who came by as we walked out of jail, things could have happened very differently.
>>
>>28040026
We have to decline. Our friends are too important to us to abandon them
>>
>>28040026
Feel free to ask for help if some crazy like Pharaoh or something brakes out, though.I hate those guys.
Especially, those weirdos who just ruin people's days for fame.

We're a professional, I hate being wrapped up with those idiots.
>>
Pausing for the evening.

Take care gang, and I'll continue this tomorrow.
>>
>>28040205
You cliff-hanging bastard.
Don't worry about its cool, see ya tomorrow.
>>
I just realize something.
Not only we exploded Boomerang chariot, we also might had just expose her true identity to all of Maretropoles.
This is going to be the talk of the city for a long time till the next big event.
>>
>>28040481
Also, she admitted to stealing from orbs shipments on live T.V. Indirect or not that's still a crime.

I'd also be willing to guess she had her orbs insured to get some kind of reimbursement check, and who knows what other crap she's been doing behind the public's back.
She could have even belonged to that secret group that mutated those ponies.

Boomerang is going to be under heavy investigation.
>>
>>28040481
We might've found out her identity, but that doesn't mean that the camera crews caught it.

>>28040532
She admitted to purchasing orbs that were stolen from shipments she already purchased.
>>
>>28040569
>We might've found out her identity, but that doesn't mean that the camera crews caught it.
I think they have a good view of the fountain but still, even if they didn't, Tink did. Also, we still know a news reporter.

>She admitted to purchasing orbs that were stolen from shipments she already purchased.
And what, it's not weird how two-bit always got the shipments she paid for.
Obviously, something was going down, It's still worth investigating at least by the pony IRS or something.
>>
>>28040617
she payed double the price just so she could be inconvenienced by having to do business with a villain. Truly, this mare is evil. As for the first part, Us knowing and the reporters knowing are two different things. Nobody's saying that we have to expose her.
>>
>>28040617
I think what happens is she first purchases orbs for 4000 each by her supplier. Then they get stolen. The supplier pays her back for the inconvenience. She then buys them from Two Bit for 3500 each. Thus saving 500 on each orb.
>>
>>28040693
I'm pretty sure that's fraud of some kind.
And that still leaves the question of how two-bit was able to always get her specific shipments; which is why I think she planned it with him and that's accessory.

I'm not saying she's pure evil or anything, but I just dislike her so I want to see the law turn on her. Especially for screwing over our friend.

But if she was one of those evil investors in that science project, that'd be a crazy twist. I,d like to see how far she fell from grace.
>>
>>28040667
>Nobody's saying that we have to expose her.
We don't have to, but I want to.
Part of the whole revenge thing.

Still, if she somehow didn't get caught on camera, I suppose our knowledge would be better used as blackmail to protect our crew.
>>
>>28040777
Trips speak of the truth.

Something tells me this won't be the last we see Boomerang. We basically ended her career and way of life right at this point. She's definitely going to come back at us or our friends when she comes out of jail. But this time, she won't hesitate to kill.
>>
>>28040777
>>28040861
You guys are forgetting that Two-bit has somebody inside the company that makes the damned things. Also a train that's guarded by supers is kinda noticeable.
>>
>>28040906
Maybe so, but something about their deals is still weird to me and she also let him get away with it for years. Pretty sure it's considered fraud in some manner.
I'd at least want to ask two-bit about it.

Also, If she got money back from the company for her lost goods, she was still stealing from them by not giving the cash back.

... She could get a nasty fee or a lawsuit on her hooves.
>>
>>28041118
I sincerely doubt that she willingly does under the table deals with a villain for some kind of extremely convoluted fraud scheme.
>>
>>28041230
>extremely convoluted fraud scheme.
Was it?
What if for her it was very easy for some reason? Maybe she worked for the company or knew someone inside as well.

If not then why only her shipments, why risk tainting her rep to deal with one guy, she's been doing this from since before we knew her, she said it herself that she didn't even need to save the money.

It's too inconsistent for it not be anything.
If it wasn't for the fact that she already owned the orbs from the start each time, I wouldn't have thought anything of it.
It would have been simple black market dealing.
>>
>>28040667
>Truly, this mare is evil.
She could be. It might be kinda interesting.
But fraud or not, I'm pretty sure the Power Ponies said she committed crimes during the course of her vigilante actions, and brutally beat quite a few ponies after she when crazy.
Now those crimes have a face so she'll have to court for that or live on the run like us.
Either way she'll likely loses a shit ton of money.

Do you know for a fact that every orb in the entire shipment was for her? Do you know for a fact that the orbs are insured and she'd get her money back if they're stolen? Would a super arrest another super's arch-nemesis?
>>
>>28044448
>Do you know for a fact that every orb in the entire shipment was for her?
Yeah, she admitted to that, but it wouldn't get rid of the strangeness of it just because orbs that weren't hers were taken too. But it's possible she just lied in either case it doesn't save much face.

As for if Boomerang had insurance on the orbs.
No, I don't know for fact, that's why I think it's worth looking into.
Also, it's the most likely cause besides her just being weird and wanting to spend extra money for no reason and risking her rep.
I'm perfectly willing to believe she had another reason if you got one.

Yes another super would arrest someone else's arch. Multiple supers have tried to do it to us, and I'm pretty sure a dibs system would be pretty counter-productive.
I can't imagine that other supers would just let a guy go just because someone else has a personal beef with the guy.
But if so I guess that would just prove easy right about them and Boomerang.
>>
>>28044448
Why would she be willing to spend 7500 per orb then? She could have arrested Two Bit long ago for stealing all of those orbs.

“No. I’m sorry, but whatever misgivings you have about Two-bit, he and the others are my family, and I can’t betray my family.”

>”So be it. If we see each other again, I suspect that we won’t be as friendly.”
>You chuckle.
“You know, it’s funny. If you had come to me at the police station instead of your brother, things may have been very different.”
>”But as it happens, my brother found you first.”
“He did.”
>Dollar falls into silence.
>Over in the alley, you hear your motorcycle rev.
“I’m gonna get going,” you say, turning.
>”Goodbye, Easy. Give my brother his regards.”
“I will.”
>As you leave the lawn, something gleaming in the twilight sun catches your eye.
>It’s Boomerang’s helmet.
>That greed-driven part of you is welling up again, telling you that you need that shiny, glistening helmet.
>And your pony half agrees.
>You snatch up the helmet, planning to keep it as a trophy.
>Leaving Bottom Dollar standing alone, you move to where Voltage is waiting for you.
>Taking the front seat, you rev the engine, heading back towards home.
>As you head towards one of the police cruisers blocking the street, he waves you down.
>Not having much choice, you pull to a halt.
>”Sorry, Easy Ride, Deputy Bars. My son is a fan of yours,” the brown mustached earth pony says, “Before you go, I thought I should ask what you want us to do with Boomerang. I assume you want to press charges?"
>>
>>28046501
I think you should put on an investigation on what she does in private. If you find anything, inform the public about it and make sure she serves her sentence.

Having a fan is something surprising. Do we like, give an autograph or something?
>>
>>28046501
Well, she probably has to pay for some of the stuff the Power Ponies said she did with all the brutality and stuff.

“Frankly, it seems like a lot of trouble.”
>”Well, that’s because it is. It’d be a civil suit against her.”
“Nah, the blow to her ego and rep should be enough. Just look into her stuff. Her story didn’t exactly seem right to me. If you find anything, inform the public about it and make sure she serves her sentence. Just because they’re heroes doesn’t mean they’re above the law.”
>”We’ll get right on it.”
“Oh, and do you have a piece of paper and a pen or something?”
>”I do, actually,” he says, digging in his shirt pocket.
>He extracts a pen and legal pad.
>Taking the pen in your mouth, you scribble your name across the paper.
“Who am I making this out to?”
>”Oh, his name is Soda Punch.”
>You quickly scrawl out a message, and then get an idea.
>Turning up your flames the slightest bit, you crisp the edges of the paper, browning them.
>Voltage giggles at you, behind your back.
>As you hand the paper back, you shoot her a stink eye.
>It’s probably a little stupid, but what the hell, it gives it some character.
>”Thanks Easy, and we’ll be sure to look into it.”
“Uh, thanks. Carry on, officer.”
>He gives you a smile, and you navigate your bike through the cruisers.
>Once out the other side, the sun dips below the horizon, and streetlights begin to turn on.
>You leave the debris-ridden, destroyed town square for somepony else to handle.

>You can’t help but smile as you drive through the all-too familiar streets of Maretropolis, your marefriend clinging to your back, and Storm flying overhead.
>Voltage says a single phrase, hugging you tightly.
>”You did it, Easy.”
>The smile on your face widens.
>It’s been so long since that stupid super broke through your shop window.
>So long since you quit your job, went to jail, and came out the other side as an outlaw.
>But now you’re here, holding Boomerang’s helmet as a trophy in your saddlebag.
>You pull into your all too familiar garage, and find Ice, Wintergreen, and Two-bit waiting for you.
>They welcome you with applause, and Two-bit claps you on the back, congratulating you and thanking you.
>You grab a bottle of champagne from the bar out front and pop it open in celebration.
>The lot of you drink to your success tonight, and Voltage pulls you close, pulling you into a kiss which you happily accept.
>Closing your eyes, you lose yourself in the sweet taste of Voltage’s lips.
>Your life has been hectic, messy, and uncertain this past half year.
>You’ve spent so much time looking back at your mistakes, trying to fix them, or at least make up for them.
>But here with your family by your side, you’re finally, really ready to move on from the past.
>For the first time in months, you’re looking forward.
>>
And that, my friends, is Super Pony.

It’s been a crazy time, running this quest with you guys, and I thank you all so much for spending this time with me. I had a heck of a lot of fun writing this, and I sincerely hope that you had a good time playing it.
I’ll write up a short epilogue within the next day or two to wrap everything up.
Once again, thank you all so much for playing, and I’ll see you around.
>>
>>28047094
So, any plans on what quests you'll be doing in the future? Or when?
>>
>>28047094
I'm always sad to see a quest end. But, nothing lasts forever; everything has to end. Hope you run another quest but, only time will tell.
>>
>>28047174

>>
>>28047094
So should we keep the thread bumped waiting for that epilogue or just let it die?
>>
>>28047297
Honestly, I would prefer if you kept it up so the epilogue can be included as story posts, then I could do a q&a afterwards if you'd like, but it's not a huge deal if it dies.

I'm really happy this quest ended with a bang, but why is there tears in my eyes.

>You drive idly through the streets of Maretropolis, your police scanner buzzing in your ear.
>It’s just something you do to pass the time nowadays.
>You’re not worrying about Boomerang or her posse of little supers breathing down your neck anymore, so you have to go out of your way to find excitement now.
>It’s been a few months since you’ve beaten Boomerang, and you and your friends are still together.
>Not that you would even think of leaving them.
>Smirking, you recall Boomerang’s misfortune in the coming days.
>Initially, Boomerang was furious, and it’s not hard to imagine why.
>You imagine her waking up in that fountain all alone in the middle of the night, her helmet gone, her cutie mark visible, and her legs bound together by chains.
>What you wouldn’t have given to see the look on her face.
>Like it or not, her identity was exposed to everypony that night.
>Ever since your return to the city, Boomerang was on a downward spiral.
>She slipped further and further into her obsession with you, slowly losing the trust of the Maretropolis citizens.
>By the time you fought her, the humiliation of her defeat was really just a formality.
>You and the rest of your friends took a long vacation shortly after the fight.
>While Boomerang was under investigation by the MPD, you were lying in a softly burning campfire while your friends roasted marshmallows over you.
>When you got back, she had already been found guilty of the crimes of vandalism and multiple counts of soliciting robbery.
>As it turns out, not all of those orbs were hers, but she did still pay for many of them twice.
>She got the same sentence as you.
>Three months.
>When she got out, she tried to establish a media presence again, but nopony was willing to give her a microphone.
>So she just locks herself in her mansion day in and day out.
>Her career, persona, and whole way of life were ruined.
>You you’ll probably have to fight her again when she really snaps, but when that day comes, you’ll be ready.
>>
>Soon after you returned, you got in touch with Skylight - the homeless mare you bought camping supplies for.
>When you met her, she was dirty, smelly, and dangerously skinny.
>Ever since you bought her that stuff, she started looking cleaner and more presentable.
>Apparently she could use more of her begging money on food, too, because she stated filling out.
>Despite her lame wing, she eventually landed a low-paying job at a restaurant, which got her off the streets and into a small apartment.
>Anything was a massive upgrade for her.
>The first time she invited you over to that apartment, she couldn’t have been happier.
>She cried until her eyes ran dry, hugging you tightly and thanking you over and over again.
>She offered you anything she could possibly give you, just name it.
>Yet you took nothing from her.
>Another saved life.
>You tried to broach the topic of getting her wing looked at, but whenever you mention it, she gets really quiet.
>Since then, you’ve learned pretty quickly that she doesn’t like to talk about it.
>Other than that, she’s a regular ball of sunshine, and a joy to spend time with.
>As for the ponies you saved from the facility, they’ve been okay.
>Some of them have tried to go back to their normal lives, and have met with varying degrees of success.
>Hiring a super is a big liability for a lot of companies, so unfortunately, many of them just can’t find work.
>With help from you and the Power Ponies, you’re trying to keep them on their hooves.
>The super game is their only real option at this point.
>But they’re working together, helping each other out, much like you do with Two-bit and the others.
>You can only hope they don’t resort to the same things as Sludge.
>Speaking of him, he still keeps to himself.
>You’ve been keeping an eye on him, but he seems to be going clean.
>That or he’s doing a better job of hiding his crimes from you.
>>
>Orchid’s life has been a mess.
>She’s trying her hardest to learn how to transform, but her magic is weak, and she can’t manage it.
>You hope she’ll figure it out soon, but you don’t think that the way she looks is the problem.
>She’s more scared of herself than anything.
>Most of the researchers got some jail time for their involvement, but they were let off easy.
>The head researcher, however, is currently rotting in the asylum.
>Likewise, the pony responsible for the funding, Rebound, is behind bars as well.
>As for your closest friends, things have been looking up.
>Ice and Two-bit have resumed dating, and it seems like Ice has gotten her mojo back.
>They’re happily going on jobs together like they used to.
>With so many of you working again, you’ve made bank.
>Which of course, is enough to let Tinker fiddle as much as he wants with his new setup.
>By this point, Tink’s an expert at programming, and he has a station set up that might even rival Batmare’s computer.
>He and Wintergreen have been dating for a while, and you assume it’s going well, since he often mumbles to himself about socks when he thinks no one is listening.
>Storm is still looking for somepony to get into a relationship with, but it’s only a matter of time until she finds someone.
>You and Voltage are still dating, and you find yourself spending more and more nights at Volt’s apartment instead of in your tiny bed in the garage.
>The mare certainly loves her cuddles, and it’s definitely better than sleeping alone.
>Marriage has certainly crossed your mind, but you think you should wait a while before you make a commitment like that.
>You’re certainly not ready to settle down yet.
>As for the Power Ponies, they like to keep you at arm’s length, but your relationship is neutral.
>All except for Fili-Second, who treats you like an old friend, and regularly visits you while you’re out listening to the police scanner.
>>
>You, however, are still doing what you’ve always loved.
>Stopping crazies, helping ponies screwed by the system, but still doing what you have to and having fun at it.
>You get a fair bit more attention than you would like, which can be annoying when you’re trying to plan less than legal jobs.
>But for the most part, ponies trust you, and the police don’t do much to stop you.
>Because at the end of the day, you’re making Maretropolis a better place.
>For yourself, yes, but also for the ponies who live in it.
>The little ponies who get the shaft more often than not.
>You may not be able to change the system, but you can sure help.
>The police scanner buzzes in your ear.
>Nodding, you press a button on your motorcycle, activating your radio.
“Tink, did you catch that?”
>”Sure did, Easy. Hold on, I’ll get you there.”
>A small map flashes up in the corner of your visor.
“Thanks Tink.”
>”You got it, Easy.”
>Revving your engine, you dash through the streets of Maretropolis, weaving in and out of traffic.
>This is your city.
>A city where the forces of good and evil are at a constant struggle.
>You’re neither of those, an outlaw riding the middle.
>You have no qualms skimming a bit off the top, doing what you need to survive, heck, you even enjoy it.
>But that doesn’t stop you from helping those in need and stopping those too dangerous or arrogant to see their own faults.
>And you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Volt was one of my favorite characters to write for, as well, followed by Tinker and Storm.
>>28055073
This was my first. I ran a really short Quest called Taken that's in my pastebin.
I plan to start my next quest in one or two months.
>>
>>28054538
Why won't you do lewd?
Are you a wizard or a christfag?
>>
>>28055160
Unfortunately, I just don't feel good about writing lewd. I don't have a good explanation, other than that.
Just doesn't feel right. I never question my writing more than when I'm attempting to write pron, and even when I post it, it still doesn't feel complete. Maybe it's not being abe to get off to your own writing, I don't know.

The point is, writing porn just feels wrong.

>Easy inhabits, she would not go to hell
But how does she come back as the ghost poner if she doesn't go to hell?
>>

Nope, but I've been accused of being a homogay more than a few times.
>>28055375
>>28055431
Okay, you have my word that Easy will not go to pony hell after she dies. She tries her hardest to do what's right and make up for her mistakes, and I think that's what matters.
>>28055417
Boomerang's friend still runs his candy store, even though he's pretty upset about what happened to Boomer and all the drama she kicked up.
They were fairly close, as far as family goes.

This
That said,
Lets add some heavy final questions before the end then.
>>28055621

Favorite part of the adventure? least favorite? Did you had something planned you had to can? Like because of the desert shit back when we were investigating boomerang?
Did you fear to have to write an uncomfortable thing? (beside the obvious you pointed out before?) Any regrets?
Did you enjoy yourself almost as much as we did? Did you learn something out of the experience?

And finally What kind of fire/electric kinks do you think Volt and Easy would do.

Aaaand that's it I guess. See you in the next world.
>>
>>28056651
>Favorite part
I'd have to say my favorite part was when you went back to the warehouse and met Skylight, as well as the ensuing charity.
It may have been a little bit emotion baity, but I'm kind of a sucker for that kind of stuff.
>Least favorite
If I had to pick a time when I was having the least fun, it would probably be the desert and the time immediately afterwards.
If only because the story went so suddenly and abruptly off-track that I didn't really have a great idea of how to move the story forward again.
>Did you have something planned you had to can?
A few things. Most of what I had planned I was able to repurpose and use in some way or another; there are only a few supers you didn't get to see. Most of those were the supers on Bottom Dollar's team, which you never got to see, save for Recluse and Bottom whose name I came to regret.
With Boomerang, I did plan a bit ahead for when you would have found out where she lived and presumably confronted her there, which I obviously didn't get to use.
>Did you fear to have to write an uncomfortable thing? Any regrets?
A little bit. I won't say I regret Easy killing Recluse. I think that in the end, it threw the story in a direction that I like better than what I had planned.
I was worried that you would use that statue in desperation, and basically lose your mind. I didn't want to have Easy be a remorseless killing machine, and I'm a little worried that's what might have happened.
There were a little small worldbuilding things that I wished I did differently early on, then when it came up again, I really wished I could go back and change them.
Sometimes I did. Like Tink spontaneously growing a horn.
As for regrets? Not many come to mind. I remember several occasions where I made some difficult decisions in a post, posted it, then immediately closed the thread because I thought there was gonna be a shitstorm.
I don't think those fears were ever really substantiated.
>>
>>28056981

>Did you enjoy yourself almost as much as we did?
I think I did. Overall, I had a lot of fun running this. While I did get a little burnt out near the end, I definitely wouldn't take any of that time back.
>Did you learn something out of the experience?
For sure. I don't really want to pat myself on the back too much, but I think I did improve quite a bit as a writer over the course of this last year. It'd be hard to write over 4,000 words a week and not improve.
If I had to pick one lesson I learned from this and wanted to give it as advice to another aspiring or active QM, I would probably say it's not to put too much stock in your plans. Having some stuff written down is always good, but when it comes to the players, it's their story just as much as yours. Nudge and push them in your direction sometimes, but when they want, let them take charge and adapt the world to their direction, and it'll turn out better than you ever thought it could be.
I really mean it. To me, Super turned out way better than I could have imagined, and Easy as a character is fantastic. More than me, that's on you guys. So thank you.

>What kind of fire/electric kinks do you think Volt and Easy would do?
Well, sky's the limit, Anon. Voltage might boop Easy on the nose, shocking her so she scrunches even harder.
Maybe Easy might wrap Voltage in a full body hug and turn up the heat, becoming a living electric blanket.
Or, you know, whatever you'd like.
>>
>>28057749
N-not yet
>>
>>28056989
What would you have done if your players turned out to be as edgy as Vampony players?
>>
>>28058864
To there credit it seems most of the edge is contained in beginning of the quest.
It looks like things got more tame after that.
>>
>>28056989
Thank you too buddy, see you next time.
>>
>>28058864
I would still have run, but I don't know if I would have enjoyed it as much.
>>
>>28059865
Well since thread is still up heres another question. We never got to talk to Easy's mom, she was mention briefly.

Think she was proud watching her little girl beat up a snobby rich kid on TV?

Also, do you think she'd like Volt and start nagging Easy about grandkids?
>>
>>28059920
Of course she's proud of you. She visited you fairly regularly while you were spending your time in jail, but after that, you basically disappeared and were accused of mass murder, which had her worried sick.
In the end, she hates snobbish supers and crazies as much as you do, so you're damn right she would have been proud of you.

As for the latter, yeah, she would start nagging you and Volt about adopting a foal soon after you have Volt meet her.

As for your mom not being included, that was one of the few things I had to drop. There wasn't much interest or urgency expressed in doing getting back in touch with her besides the one brief mention.
I considered including it in the epilogue, but I thought a big teary reunion like that deserved more than a passing mention and the epilogue was already getting fairly long, so that's one of the things that just didn't get to be featured, unfortunately.

Not seeing you for so long was pretty tough on your mother. She desperately collected everything she could on you: newspaper clippings, pictures, your whole comic book series, which she read feverishly.
The reunion was tearful, but you were both happy to see each other once again after so long, and your mom was quick to talk your ear off over how proud she was of you for showing that no-good Boomerang bitch who's boss.
>>
>>28060180
You could if you want to wright a shot story of it as a week later thing after the camping trip with the gang, if you still feeling like adding it to the epilogue.
Did you has plan for Easy finding out what happen to her dad after his sudden disappearance?
>>
>>28060180
I'm sorry I don't think I phrased my last question very well before.

What I meant to say was:If Boomerang became a supervillain do you think she'd change her theme and how would she go about it? Think she'd stick to her old gimmick or would she try to get superpowers, if so what would she get or would she go insane eating an artifact to counter us?

I'd imagine she wouldn't be able to do what she did before because she'd be media cancer and the money would stop flowing.
Also what kind of evil strategies would she employ to get back at us?
>>
>>28060288
I don't think I will, if I'm perfectly honest. Easy's story is done, and I think the spot where it ended is where the story should end. I'm alright with a little 'where are they now' epilogue so you can see the effects of your decisions, answering some final questions about the story, but for now, I'm leaving Maretropolis behind.

>Did you have a plan for Easy finding out what happened to her dad?
Easy was her father's filly, but unfortunately her dad was an alcoholic. He was more of a fun drunk and often let you do whatever you wanted, which your mom didn't appreciate.
After the divorce, your mom got full custody and your dad moved away from Maretropolis and your mom cut off all contact with him. You haven't seen him in years, and your jacket is the only real reminder you have of him.
So no, there was basically no way you could reconnect with him.

>>28060329
Boomerang definitely still has the money to do what she'd like. Her family has a lot of old money and she's pretty much able to coast on her inheritance alone. Thus she's become a hermit, endlessly plotting your downfall alone in her giant house.
As for if she'd be willing to change her theme, her Boomerang persona is kinda fucked, so it's not unreasonable that she would go for a total thematic revamp. She changed her boomerangs to water cannons in an attempt to beat you, after all.
Though I can't say I've given it much thought, I'd say she might try and get superpowers just to stand a chance against you. That, of course, is often a route to insanity.

>What kind of evil strategies would she employ
Standard villain stuff, mostly. Going after your friends when she can, using civilians as hostages in an attempt to draw you out, she'd pretty much know no boundaries anymore.
Her plans would get more and more needlessly elaborate and complex, and each would be less effective than the last.
Basically, Boomerang's ship has sunk.
>>
>>28060180
>Adopting
>Not using a magical potion to genderbend and inseminate Volt, literally feeling her belly heat up with our fiery sperm.
>Not conceiving our little Static Fire.
Linkeh plz.
>>
>>28060371
Wasn't there some dark version of batman at some point? Maybe she'd become that. Become edgy and turn her boomerang into a bladerang.
>>
>>28060487
Well alright, if you want a magical lesbian baby, it's probably not out of the realm of possibility.

Let your imagination run wild.
>>
>>28060496
Naw, Boomerang would just get a much of squirt guns, water cannons, and a sombrero.
Then call herself the Super soaker bandito.
>>
>>28060503
>>28060487
Given Easy's soft spot for the downtrodden she'd probably have an adopted foal or two as well.
>>
>>28060503
Did Glenn ever get a new Mommy?
I'm guessing his old is pretty upset.
>>
>>28060928
Not yet. He hasn't found a new maid he likes/trusts enough yet.
>>
>>28060932
So I'm guessing Easy's mom liked Volt.
You think Volt's parents would like Easy? She is a bad girl, after all, she might be distasteful to them.

Are you upset that the thread is still alive an asking silly questions?
>>
>>28060966
Easy's mom loved Volt.
Volt's parents were a bit more wary of you, but her dad agreed that who she gets together with is his daughter's decision, not his. As long as she's happy, he's happy.

>Are you upset at silly questions?
Not at all, Anon. I'm happy to answer them.
>>
>>28060180
>your whole comic book series
We got a comic book series when the heck did that happen? Looks like Easy became a sellout.
Are we cooler than we are in real life, everything is probably super embellished isn't it?

I bet all the readers are defectors from Boomerang's fan club. Speaking of which what happened to those guys?
>>
>>28061111
>When the heck did that happen?
Almost every superhero in Maretropolis has a comic book series. No, you didn't ask for it, no, you didn't see a single bit from it.
Nopony knows who makes them or how, they just kind of happen to popular superheroes.

>Are we cooler than in real life?
While some artistic liberties were taken, the comic book is pretty true to life.

>What happened to the Boomerang fan club?
Most of them tried to stick with the club, but eventually most of them decided that she's shit now and moved on to different heroes.
Some of them were upset that you used them to try and find Boomerang.
>>
>>28060570
>Easy and Volt each "fathering" one or 2 kid each + 2 off the streets ala Brangelina.
>Their daughters start their own super club of their own.
>Mandatory Cuddle pile with their mamas each days.
>>
>>28061147
How old are Ice and Two-bit?
This whole time I thought they were middle age and half expected them to retire happily in the epilogue.
>>
>>28061232
They're in their mid 30s.
>>
>>28061251
Does Boomerang's BF blame Easy for their inevitable break up after Boomerang became a hermit or had she already driven him away by then?
>>
>>28061273
She had already driven away most of those closest to her. A lot of Boomerang's family holds animosity towards you, but not to the same level of obsession as Boomerang.
>>
>>28061292
Is Volt in enjoying Easy's creepy fan mail from horny teenage stallions/mares?
Looking back it might have been irresponsible using Volts address to get our mail.
>>
>>28061375
Fortunately, it seems that the news station was true to their word in that they wouldn't share your address.

You do get some creepy fanmail, but it's rare and you typically burn it.
>>
>>28061404
That sandman pony died of starvation in that cave didn't he or did the fire scorpion hordes get him when they came looking for their master?

Also what was your favorite fight in the story?
>>
>>28061544
His body is made of sand held together by magic, so he doesn't really need to eat.
He eventually got out and made his way back to the city.

You did, however, create a new line of magical fire scorpions that are currently populating the desert.

My favorite fight was probably the last one. That explosion was certainly creative; whoever thought of that, I quite liked that idea.
Plus, the whole CYOA led up to that encounter, and it's the freshest in my mind.
>>
>>28061606
What happen to the three super that attacked us at the abandon factory that Skylight was staying at?
>>
>>28062028
They're still out there. Their little tracker trap didn't work, and you never saw them again.
>>
>>28062059
So your going to start running again in 1 to 2 months huh?
Does it normally take that long to prepare a CYOA properly?
I'm a bit new to that story telling entirety.
>>
>>28062849
It's been in the works for a while, but the month is more for me to just rest.
>>
>>28062887
How soon did it take for Tink to rub his hot girlfriend in his parent's faces?

Also, does Winter have doubts because she can't tell if he loves her or the socks more?
>>

Yeah, but she thinks he's adorable so they're good.
>>

I've gotta ask, would tink have gotten the superhotgf if easy had gone with the other two plans. Like killing boomerang or the powerponies.
>>
>>28063137
Do you have an idea of your setting for the next adventure? Personally I'm hoping for cyberpunk, ala Shadowrun.
Will you feature cameos from this? By that I mean just by named or design, not the actual character.

How hard would the Power Ponies have been if we took the statue route and fought them?

None, though she's offered to join you in the bedroom a couple times, something that Volt wasn't okay with.
Same with Tink and Winter. They didn't say yes to her either.
>Who's on top in the two relationships?
Easy and Winter.
>>
>>28065459
What about Two-bit and Ice?

Also, does Storm ever get the fame she wanted?
Maybe she got cameoed in Easy's comic book.
>>
>>28065459
What race are both Easy and Volt parents?
>>
>>28065495
Two-bit and Ice trade off, but more often, Ice is on bottom.

Storm does get some amount of the attention she was after, but you and Two-bit talked her down from doing anything big and stupid.
>>
>>28065523
Easy's parents are both earth ponies.
Volt's mom is a unicorn while her dad is an earth.
>>
>>28065525
Did Ice and Two-bit let Storm join for a threesome?

Or did she get the Cold shoulder?
>>
>>28065015
But who would make the best babysitter and who is the worst?
I would say Boomerang would be the worst babysitter, leaving the kids in cages at a "totally secret location that Easy doesn't know about."
It's her mansion.
>>
>>28065548
The one that is a pun.

>>28065945
While most supers tend to settle down after they have kids, for the ones that do continue their work, going after their foals is a pretty big no-no.
Mostly because it's often one of the fastest ways to make someone go ballistic.
>>
>>28066020
You didn't answer the cameo question.
>>
>>28066114
>>28063768
This one?

Probably not. Maybe there might be a comic book or something laying around? I don't plan on it, is the point. Different universe.
Though there have been a few cameos in this CYOA. Save for one that I kinda wish I did differently, the characters I cameo'd didn't get a lot of attention drawn to the fact that they were cameos. They had powers based on the CYOA they were from, and resembled a character from the CYOA. In personality and name, they were completely different.
>>
>>28066192
You can always just include an NPC that is what you'd think easy or tink's kid would be.
