I was drawn to it because as a musician, I love musicals and the first episode I saw was Winter Wrap Up, I was impressed by the quality of the songwriting and decided to watch the whole episode...in which I was impressed by the characterization of female characters who weren't all limited to the same vapid stereotype of "hehe dumb gurl", the imaginative world and seemingly having a continuity I hadn't yet discovered, the expressive animation that was absent in hipster shows like Adventure Time....as I went back and watched from the beginning I fell in love with the combination of lighthearted SOL and lore ridden adventure, as well as the incorporation of classic cartoon humor and slapstick as opposed to random quirk replacing sight gags and crafted jokes like in Adventure Time
