Someone said a thing about augmented satyrs. I had this idea within that monster hunter gambit, to have some satyrs fight with robot parts so they keep up with Alex and Simmer's power in the field. Glimmer being the one who does all the science to them and such.

Well, that's always up to the people using it (or refusing to).

The difference is that Discord isn't terrible software, there are multiple channels for the various types of content instead of only one big conversation where things get lost or drowned out, and voice doesn't intrude on text channels.

I think it's useful for larger, diverse groups like a general thread tends to attract.

I think a big part of that is that Skype, being a single conversation stream, will naturally drown out various topics, letting only prolific chatters and their preferred topics bubble to the top. A Discord allows you to separate different conversations and subject matter into different channels.

If you aren't on Discord, I understand, but if you already use it, you lose nothing by connecting since you can just turn off the notifications.

I have a pastebin, but I tend not to put stuff on it unless it's over a certain length (maybe five posts or so) and it's had what I'd consider actual effort put into it. What I mean by that is that if a story was made up as I went along with no real plan as to where I was going with it or what I wanted to have happen, then it won't get put on the pastebin. For example the few posts about probably won't get put on there.

Now that I know that the searchable archive's a thing, I'll probably start migrating stuff onto it slowly.

This idea with the ounce of edge that inevitably ensues, one could build on the various character types that come up in satyr. From each pony parent to how, the father, you, deals with it. Think on each individual satyr and let them be into a scenario where it is just them. There will have to be typical lonesome moments, but in how they deal with it is where each of these characters can flourish unto their own. I know this is going to sound like me trying to come across all hardcore, but I never really used to cry as a kid, not even when I broke my thumb, because I understood that it didn't do any good.
