Now, could the mods do a better job? Definitely. I've seen worthy threads deleted for no reason while shit threads were left untouched. But my point is, if you think that having shitpost threads alive encourages other people to shitpost more, which is probably true, then you should let them die.

Whoever wanted to reported it, already reported it, and the people who see the thread bumped now don't give a fuck about the OP, if anything they are angry at the bumper. I'm not doing an exhaustive list but, to name one, I remember a thread with cover songs getting deleted. That was really arbitrary because the thread was mostly show-related, while completely off-topic threads weren't deleted that day. It's even more arbitrary considering music threads are kinda frequent, so it's difficult to know why that particular thread was deleted.

Anyway, I just replied to give you a example. I'm not really interested in discussing this topic any further and, for sanity, I'm hiding this thread before I change my mind and I tell that other anon to fuck off. :^)
