I'd assume it was during the russian cp spam, which got the country ip banned. cp spammers on /int/ aren't particularly uncommon, especially that guy with the polish proxy

Anyways they do have mods active that patrol threads and delete CP and also encourage users to report it, but sometimes things slip through and hosting companies are pretty short-tempered on CP staying live for longer than a short amount of time. That said, there's a discussion in http://cuckchan.org/desu/thread/1250/ on how to alleviate the problem.
