I think they're ugly, too, but I think most of what Hasbro makes is uglier. They're also cheaper than the vinyls and there are fewer of them, so they're easier to collect.

I don't get comics. Both from SDCC, the one on the left is a hardcover compilation and the one on the right is just a single variant cover issue. The hardcover is now worth about $50 and the single issue is worth like $80.

I've gone every year for the last 4 years. And buying stuff for people from Hasbro is a tricky proposition since they limit you to only 1 or 2 of each item plus you have to be in line at 3 AM to get tickets to be allowed to buy anything and hope they don't sell out.

It varies from year to year. The DJ-Pon3 is worth maybe +25% of retail while the Derpy goes for +300%. Just have to feel the market out each year, supply and demand and all that.

It's part of what helps me afford it. I can buy 2 sets of their MtG cards at $125 each and sell them for $300.

Funny story. That /toy/fag was most likely me. But I didn't mean it as some franchise war. And I for one like Hascon. I was just annoyed at that fag in particular.

Here's what happened. I was in line for a Q&A at a Transformers panel at NYCC. Specifically, the new Transformers cartoon which wasn't out yet. I was right behind this guy, and his question was him trying to be cool asking for a MLP and TF crossover, and it was kind of autistic the way he asked it. Not to mention the voice actors were really confused and had no idea what he was talking about, and pretty much gave him the obvious "No, we don't know." Then they said he was the last question.

I was more irritated that I just got cut off because someone wanted to ask a retarded question about something that wasn't going to happen. And the fact that he wasted time trying to act cool about it instead of saying "Will there be an MLP/TF crossover." Not to mention the question would have been better asked at an IDW panel, not the cartoons, when it's said they're not on the same channel anymore.
