Have you guys heard Vaati's 'hollow' music video yet, I really think it's a great powerful piece, physically it may not seem much but if you contemplate just exactly what you've been through in all 3 souls games and especially Dark souls 3 where you had no past apart from being unkindled ash it makes you really feel for your character both new and old I think if he / she contemplated what they did / were before they became who they were they would break down into tears realising that they physically cannot remember their past

As much as i like changelings as a beast, they are literally parasites. That'd be like wanting a leech attached to you, and in most cases a doppelganger exposing itself would definitely be a bad thing.
I don't really think it was a direct order from the queen, considering she was preoccupied with the sun princess. There's just no good reason to give such a ridiculous order to just a single changeling, or rather there's no reason to give such an order to any changeling especially if the goal is subjugation and not befriending.
Id also argue that there was no need to lower their defenses for another invasion due to rhe queen being fairly certain she had completely won.
Though I'll concede on the bee and ant thing. I don't remember shit about em beyond how their caste is structured.

Well I mean in dark souls 2 the only thing your grinding is shards so you can pump up your armour and weps but DS 3 well prepare to die because your armour is un-upgradable but out of all the souls games it's probably the shortest If not toughest so you don't need to grind but get ready to mesmerise every boss's pattern

You know, I've been realizing that I mostly play Dark Souls for the exploration, lore, weapon variety, and bosses. I get some fun out of the normal kill-what's-in-your-path combat, but not that much. Is this the usual way of seeing things, or do you anons get as much fun out of fighting through standard enemies as you do the rest of the game?

I mainly ask because I'm wondering if it's necessary for Dark Souls games to be a constant struggle in order to be fun.

I do tend to have a lot of fun going through new areas for the first time. The point at which it becomes boring is when I'm walking through eight moderately easy fights for the 20th time and trying not to lose any health because I want to save estus for the boss or ambush room I'm currently stuck on.

Been playing the luck build with using Anri's sword and cosplaying the Sunless set. So basically the "you horrible monster what have you done?!" build. Have just enough faith for bless weapon, no magic but some Dex and str for bows and the dragon and spirit shields. Just straight up sword fighting. It's a hoot cause the damage and stunlock potential is crazy. It feels like my pure magic sword girl build from Demons Souls that I loved that I couldn't quite get to work in DS1 and 2.

Yeah it's pretty weird, das3 has more options for face creation than das1, but it's very hard to make a unique face that looks good, most faces end up looking like the default. I've actually probably spent 5+ hours in the das3 character creator. It's possible to create interesting/unique/good looking faces, but it requires a lot of time. It's tedious, so many sliders don't make obvious changes, but at the same time the sliders interfere with each other constantly. You make what looks like a slight change with one slider, then when you go to use another it fucks everything up for no reason.

I've never looked at the painted world crow folk properly, do you think they're naturally that thin or is it just difficult to find food consistently in lordranglothric?

Oh my god, there are so many characters and creatures in dark souls that i just want to wrap in a blanket and save from that awful world. Quelaag's sister, Yorshka, all of the fire keeper's, karla, quelaana, to name a few. The only thing i really hate about the souls worlds is that happy endings are impossible.

Meh. Just meh.
No matter what kind of character you make you have to be this Gears of War looking dude, there's dialogue options, WoW looking armor sets and weapons.
It's souls-esque and not even a bad game, but playing it made me feel like I was watching a Chinese bootleg of a pixar film or something.
