I agree with that. I think it might take a bit of time for people to get used to her in the same way people had to get used to Twilicorn and Cadence, but personally I think there's also a bit of a gap in her backstory and the Hearthswarming Tail ep. made me realize that there could've been a whole journey in between when Sunburst left and her actually getting to create said equality village.

She travelled through the desert at some point before she found that place and I'm kind of curious to hear her reasons why. Or an episode where she returns back to where she grew up with the Mane 6.

Starlight needs more screentime before she has enough love to maintain her own thread.

I actually think Starlight's make a better protag than Twilight now, since she's more relateable than Twi's position.

Yeah, I think she has a lot of potential being unused right now. And they had a chance to correct some of the mistakes in her finale by better explaining what happened to her in the S6 Premier but spike keeps shoving it underneath the rug and taking shots at her. That joke gets really tiresome to me personally. There's a bit of a gap in between Sunburst leaving and her creating her equality town and I'd really like to see that touched on. Like having her return home where she grew up for an episode maybe.

It seemed to me like maybe they were implying it with "everyone has a reason for what they do" when referring to Snowfall Frost that they might touch on something like that in the future. At least I hope they do, because I think Glimglam can contribute a lot to the show.

She's in the opening now, so they'd better do their best to expand on her a bit more. I wonder if she had a really shitty caretaker like Professor Flintheart, or her parents just didn't care about her at all and Sunburst was her only friend. How exactly she learned all that magic to the degree she did, since I'm not entirely sold she learned it all from Sunburst as a child. And why she was travelling through the desert in the first place. She must've felt motivated to leave at some point for some reason... I'd like to see why.

One person also pointed out it could be a unique opportunity to bring back Grogar from G1 as a potential former master/ villain for the series? A Flintheart type she learned magic from? Maybe she just didn't really realize he was evil at the time. Although I kind of like the idea of her studying her butt off on her own with no friends because it mirrors Twilight in a way, but it could still be interesting if they chose to go that direction.
