Now that I've settled how far my stamina can go, I try to average 4 updates (counting the last one when I stop) and resulting in around 2 hours. I feel it's short, but also that it helps dose the sessions so people can miss some and catch up, and have a daily short time of the day where they know the CYOA will run. I'd say anything less falls too short.

Going over 8 hours, you're going to have players in different countries playing at different times. It's great to keep it rolling if you have a small playerbase with the same interests, but most of the time you risk ending up with a Gay Agenda Task Force or equivalent.

Shorter sessions are ok if there's still at least 3 updates and you run at a regular schedule. Of course, unexpected happenings can prevent you from running a full session sometimes, but you should tell your players when you can't run, and consider letting the thread die if you're away for more than 2 days.

I liked to write for as long as I was awake. Writing bare text is faster than drawing pictures and then adding some nice text. As a player, I simply enjoy quests, sometimes regretting I couldn't participate during QM's running hours. Such is life.

Not as far as I know. I think there were references to Anonguard from RGS in some quests, but not Anonpone.

About Pencils, I feel like he's trying too hard to act like a tough guy or an ebin tear-drinking ruseman, but otherwise is a cool guy who draws nice stuff. But that's a personal opinion.

With the hours my players are awake, I can run only when most of them are sleeping. Its not really fair to just have one reply for every post, so I do one a day. Its not very fast but its better than nothing
