I had to retouch it completely, if not then the shading wouldn't have looked right. I would've had to re-shade her abdomen after having spent like 14 minutes doing it already, so I touched it up a bit and added some effects. If you want the JPEG quality version I could post that and you'll see how much a difference this makes.

I was told that using the opposite color to make the shade works well with painting and when the colors blend like in traditional, but I would ask someone about that to make sure I'm remembering correctly. So if you were painting on purple, using a yellow would be the opposite color. Again, I haven't drawn since october and haven't even thought about color stuff for even longer so I could be wrong.
