Her eyebrows would be underneath her hair, and the pinprick eyes didn't look as good with color. Perhaps this was a mistake.

Hmm... maybe you can try using a thicker stroke for the outermost line of the hair. That might help differentiate the outline of the hair from all the interior lines (see pic for example). Or you can keep it two different colors, that works too...
