The OP polls were never meant to be properly representative. They're meant to force new QMs to ask more detailed questions when they come in. All those questions are just step one into whatever the potential QM wants to actually ask about, so we just skip it.

The sentence is broken in several ways. It was never mentioned that the character looked away so it started off weird, but assuming that happened I'd fix it like

If no one gives them attention,(especially on a website something like that) then they usually aren't much harm. Is it fucking annoying? Sure, but I guess the part that this hinges on is how overzealous all it builds up to. And if it get's really bad on a site like that, there is such a thing as banning all the accounts.
