Now, I guess the question we're really asking should be:"Is her face in the episode an accurate reprensentation of what she would look like from the front?", but it is simpler to just say "Does she look flat from the front?".

The problem is not that her face looks flat from the front, it's that it does not line up accurately with the information we get from her head at an angle.

Think of it like this:
Look at two images of any object in the world, one image at an angle and one from straight ahead.
With the infromation you get from the first image you're able to understand how everything goes together in the second one, by quite literally 'connecting the dots'.
And by superimposing that knowledge you can perceive a 3-dimensional shape from the front.

But that is not how Embers face works. From the side there is one face, and from straight ahead is another face entirely.
Thing just do not line up accurately - the width of her jaw, shape of her mouth etc.

I found the theme and setting to be inconsistent.
The protagonist and Ember are fighting to the death, but there is no significance to the fact that they were trying to kill each other or that the protagonist decided to spare Ember's life.
Their animosity is treated as more of a slight dislike rather than what would be feeling appropriate to me (strong dislike, distrust).
Especially when they later take off their armor to be able to share body heat they seemed far too trusting with each other.
If this story was using a setting where there's no murder, only cartoon violence in Equestria then this would not be as much of a problem but the story goes and explicitly states that the protaonist has slain multiple dragons.

The writing wasn't particularly good in my opinion, especially the pre-coital banter between Ember and the protagonist I found dull.
Also in my opinion in some parts cursive text was used too much; If there are three words being emphasized in the same sentence it loses it's effect.

I did not find the erotic scenes arousing, mainly because the characters had in my opinion no chemistry between them.
If the characters had been swapped into any story it wouldn't have made a difference for the scene since their relationship had no influence on how it played out.
There was a point where the protagonist turned one of the lines Ember had previously said to him against her, but that seemed kind of forced to me.

Also I got the feeling that there is confusion as to what being cold-blooded means.
A cold-blooded creature does not regulate it's own core temperature, it varies depending on external factors.
However, since Ember is shown shivering when cold and since her insides are described as very hot even though her surrounding are cold, she does not qualify as being cold-blooded.

Overall I'd give this story a 5/10, I had to force myself to finish it.

Reading my descriptions of Ember so far I see why you might get the impression that Ember has a very anthropomorphic body.
However, Anon is not getting a proper view of Ember's behind, and since the reader only gets Anon's subjective perspective they receive his assumptions about how Ember's butt would look like.
Later on it will be revealed that Ember does not have an ass crack due to the large, muscular tail protruding from her lower end.
Since Ember's legs are protruding to the side there might still be a scene where Anon holds on to Ember's would-be buttcheeks during lovemaking though.

I will probably still change the descriptions of Ember a little though since for her it probably wouldn't be very comfortable to be sitting on a flat surface.

This allows for some artistic freedom in the way I can write about dragon anatomy, and what I have in mind is relatively similar to the classic idea of a winged lizard.
I've tried my best to visualize my vision of dragon anatomy (see pic) though I'm not a particularly good drawfag.
