Well, I was thinking that Bloss could go to Celestia in a desperate move to reveal Thing. Thing letting Bloss go to canterlot, hoping to assimilate the Princess to forward her goals, once Bloss is standing before Celestia after waiting in line like all the other snobbish patitioners, she breaking down and crying, speaking incoherantly at the foot of the throne, Celestia steps forward and wraps wings to comfort Bloss so she can speak clearly, and on contact, Thing gets visions and memories of a "light" exterminating other things throughout this galaxy. Suddenly Thing want's nothing more than to run away from Celestia. Bloss finally calms enough to tell what's been happening, despite Thing screaming in her mind. Celestia, seeing the mare's poor state, and fully undrstanding the situation, speaks directly to Thing, something like, if Thing does not harm her ponies, she will not harm Thing.
