Wrote this some time ago.

Cheerilee was featured heavily in the earlier seasons because as a relic from G3 Hasbro wanted her to tie-in so they have established characters in the new G4 series. It's the reason why the first McD wave of toys had Cheerilee. Once G4 took off on its own, Cheeriliee was no longer as needed and her usage in the show dropped as such.

I afraid that this season, or last season if she hasn't done it by this season, will be the last we see of her. Cheerily is currently on suicide watch. Each day she gets closer and closer to finally kicking the chair and letting herself hang from her ceiling fan. Getting forgotten by Big Mac was the worst thing that could happen to her, since he was the only reason she even bothered to get up every day. The children have started noticing their teacher become increasingly dismissive and sluggish, and on most days, she has the substitute teacher fill in. The children start to think if the substitute is the new teacher, since Cheerily won't show up for weeks at a time. Say goodbye to this horse everyone!
