I like the movies, but not to the point that I don't recognize that they have flaws (which they are getting better with each movie)

I think it was bad timing for her and EqG
an overall short and bad season, with Twilicorn and then THIS came out
so people hated it on principle that it took half their season away and were still butthurt over Twilight's change

while Twilicorn was mostly out of the blue, EqG did NOT cause S3 to be short
if it wasn't for the fandom EqG and S4 and beyond wouldn't exist
(EqG would, but would not have had ties to mlp and been some generic new toy line for Hasbro)


I really hope they continue to develop how magic affects the EqG universe
it's a neat idea and would allow them to explore that world
either a tv series or even webisodes would be good besides the movies
they NEED to show us where other Shimmer is/has been and finish our Shimmers arc by reconciling with Celestia

First movie i liked the first time but it was meh overall and my least fav. Mostly cuz sunset just felt like a really... basic villain. Some random bitchy hoe tryna take over equestria with a few dozen mind controlled teenagers? Lol good luck nerd. Didn't even feel bad at first when she was crying in the crater...

2nd i really liked and thought it was great - sunset became a really loveable char since the last movie plus the music and the dazzles were great.

3rd i still kinda have mixed feelings... like you have to suspend disbelief pretty fucking hard and a lot of stuff was pretty forced, but overall it was decent and my #2. Sunset showing a lot more character and not being afraid to step the fuck up for the sake of everyone and stop what needs stopping got me by the balls for sure. When she sucked the magic from friends then just fucking threw it on the ground and got covered in the magic was the most hype I've been in a movie for quite a while.

So overall yeah i liked the movies and am looking forward to the new one
