I bought a life size plush of Twilight Sparkle today. Well, I did, but the seller backed out and said she was too large to ship so he will no longer be selling her.

I am trying to talk to him and tell him I will pay more for shipping because I really want her, but I doubt that will do much good. I think he wanted more money for her so he will not sell her now that he didn't get the money he wanted for her.

I had my dream fulfilled and crushed to bits in the same day. Damn.

Go on a roadtrip! If you're an Amerifag like me, there's a whole country out there you've probably never seen! I'm from NJ and counting out Florida (get on plane, land in Orlando, go to Disney World, leave Disney World, get on plane, back in NJ), I've never been farther west then Rochester NY.

You could do a descent multi-day trip around the couple of states where you are at the very least.

Taking a multi day trip by sleeper train is also highly reccomended, and fun!

I'm starting to learn how to make plushes, and I'm wondering what you guys think of the different detailing methods. Appliqué is softer, but it requires a lot of skill and effort to make look good,while embroidery looks amazing, but is hard and rough compared to the rest of the plush.

Well if that's the case, then after just a week and a half of living with her.. she pretty much owns my whole place... including me.

I call bullshit on Agatrix not being able to refund. She could have easily just sent a paypal payment. Look at her commission list: paid in advance, paid in advance, paid in advance......x40. You are not the first. I know of someone who had to cancel, was a repeat customer. Now, I don't know if they got a refund or not. This was January of this year. I spoke to them in replies on a pic and they said they were to get two pones and already had a pone from 2015. Then 15 days later I asked them of details of the future pone. They had to cancel 1 of the 2 pones that were to be, the other was completed not long ago...... You are not the first, there is some strange pony business going on here.

The issue concerning that is what you just stated. Over a year for the wait. And that's not counting the amount of time you would have to wait on a list to being considered. If I have the money to make payments starting then, then I would. But I would have to wait for an undisclosed amount of time first on a list before being considered, approved, and then over a year of waiting.

As far as I can tell, anyone who brings a plush to the con can have theirs put on display with everyone elses (and I assume you register them when entering them so no one walks of with one).
