I am but an humble Anon from the time before Fausticorn
let me tell you a tale:
It was a lonesome land, not a fellow Anon like me for many leagues (If not the only one!).
I could only visit in secret, or I'd be reprimanded on sight if I were discovered that I liked little colorful equines.
The first ponies were cute, playful and very welcoming, they fought many creatures to pave the way for their children.
Bonniecorn had created something good, but left before an heir could be named.
Technology progressed and they lost touch with their heritage and started becoming too feminine
Their children never knew the evils their grandparents fought for the peace they take for granted and only wished to shop and talk about boys and dresses
Their foals were an abomination to the eyes! The "sounds" that came out of their mouths could make your ears bleed!
I could no longer recognize the beautiful equines I once fell in love with.
For years, I had to endure this degradation of what were once strong, brave equines.
My love began to wain and I visited less often, I could not stand what they had become!
I had given up hope in seeing them ever becoming like they once were.
In my dismay, I turned my back and as I was about to swear them off forever, when Fausticorn's voice rang out and said "I have heard your plight, my dear Anons! I have transcended to reign in a new era!"
With her new found magic, the lands trembled from her power!
Tidal waves washed the lands of the vile creatures that plagued them
the world morphed, becoming something new, yet had a reminiscence of the past.
Other Anons began dotting the lands.
Most are younger than me, but a surprising number were of the same generation and they were all experiencing the same love and joy I had all but forgotten I once had for these little ponies
I turned to thank her, but her visage began to disappear, her last words struck my very core, "You were never alone, Anon." and I wept, for I was finally home.
