Here's my advice on drawing. Bear in mind that it is probably bad advice, but feel free to take it anyway if you want.

The thing that helped me with art the most was to stop giving a shit.

I always thought I was a crappy artist, and then one day I realized I was right, and suddenly it didn't matter any more. Hell, up until today I was still working with colored pencils. Now I just draw for fun, and when it turns out crappy I just shrug, say "oh well", and move on. When people say "your art is crap", I can just say "I know" and go on with my day.

I'll probably never make anything too impressive, but I enjoy drawing a lot more with my current attitude.

I'm just sitting here waiting for Northern Excursion and Semantic Error to update...

What's the equivalent of an art stream for a writer?

So, I was bored and not able to join sekrit tonight, thus I decided to draw >implying I can do it cutie marks of my characters. It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I never described them. Forgetting about such important thing would be really dumb, after all.

I didn't have the access to crayons tonight. I may post coloured version one day and explain the meanings of these marks, but I'll do it in my own thread. When I get the time and enough drive to make it, that is.

It's far from perfect but it's flaws are mostly in the 'boring' category rather than in having any particularly grievous errors.

I am one of the people responding to your CYOA, so I may be a bit biased.

But, my suggestion is don't let yourself get bogged down by pulling in different directions. You're under a lot of pressure to make it a more strategy-centric CYOA, a straight lewd thing, etc. Resist the urge to let players just wander without progress as they bounce between paths; if you put stumbling blocks in their progress, make sure hitting them leads to a different route and not just something that holds them back until they 'fix' it.
