Now that the first thread's almost over, I want to give my thoughts on Dirty Work. Specifically how much I like it.

Kismet is handled especially well. Rather than the stereotypical mob character who would be something like 'You's gonna do what we say, or we's gonna get you fitted for a new pair a' shoes, see?' She's actually nice, 'I know you're in trouble, but you can fix it and here's how.' Even hugging thw MC whenever they discussed the actual numbers of the debt.

That empathy and kindness means that not only is Sharpie doing work for the mob, but she's perfectly happy to do so. It's genius level manipulation, and I love it.
Second, going right into the plot is a plus. No beating around the bush, here's the problem, go solve it.
Other than that, I like Sharpie's neurotic personality. It's a lot of fun to play a character with a distinct personality.

Off to a much stronger start than Heat and I'm really looking forward to what more this CYOA has to offer.

That is a really interesting looking creature, but nothing about it's design says "hippogriff" to me. The classic hippogriff has always been split in the middle, griffon up front and equine in the back. Hippalectryon if you reverse that.

You support reinterpreting hippogriffs by adding cat elements and changing which body parts come from which parent species, whereas I don't think that is how the show presents mythological creatures.

Everyone can decide for themselves how much they're willing to change something and still call it by the same name.

Just to clarify, the classical unicorn is a goat/horse hybrid with one horn. They have cloven hooves and beards like goats, but the head shape of a horse.
