I read this part of your sentence and immediately thought of Twilight hiring extremely muscular jocks as her Royal Guard. Then as I was writing this post my mind shifted to those same muscular jocks doubling as servants and then things turned lewd when I realized Twilight could be a total slut with those guards if she wanted.

Considering how season 05 was written around the same time as Rainbow Rocks, one could have expected to see Flash Sentry being shoehorned into the show.

The backlash and shitstorn that followed Flash's cameos on s04 made them rethink a few things and that's why we didn't saw Flash Sentry ever again.

Hell, they even removed Flash Sentry's planned scene from Slice of Life.

Good question. I've think I've seen it a few times in Twilight was an alicorn all along stories. Pretty much all of them are shit. Luna is more common as a parent though. Also there was that one early fandom story where Twilight was a golem created by Celestia, Sunset I think it was called.
