So, quick question, I fell into a bit of an art block when my last thread for one of my quests fell off the board for some outside reasons, I'd like to get another thread up and running but I won't be able to run on the 23rd because I'll be celebrating Festivus and I will be busy on the 24th and 25th with Christmas related merriment. Should I get a thread of one of my "active" quests up? Try to run something short and stupid as a two day quest or perhaps try starting another on that I want to have goingWhich is probably a really bad idea,even if I just really want to start it to get it out of my system.
Really I'm not going to base this decision solely on you guys but I'd like your input before making an assessment.

Look Mr.Square I'm not going to give you my bias opinion on what you're archival options based on personal experience.
Now I would suggest using Tumblr mostly for a few reasons. Mostly because it sounds like you've got a lot of shit to upload. You can upload batches of images in 10 at a time groupings and the ability to customize your page(s) is quite versatile. On the downside, Tumblr's servers have been slowing to a crawl lately while Yahoo has be integrating it with their infrastructure, because of this I feel like Yahoo is going to pull another geocitys with Tumblr very soon since Yahoo doesn't seem to be able to keep up with the traffic Tumblr requires. Also tumblr's lack of a good comment System is something you should also consider.
DeviantArt has a good set up for correspondence and feedback but there are bo anonymous comments, so people have to have an account to tell you things or request stuff. Also DeviantArt puts a lot of features behind a paywall like page customization and multiple file upload. But will support odd file uploads like .swf but if you do adult art forget using Deviant Art for that.
Never tried Fur Affinity.
Also never tried InkBunny but I've heard good things.

I like Long Name and am rather surprised it survived that shaky beginning and it's QM being a britabong. I think it's because despite all it's stumbling about, it's QM is rather great. I feel like once it picks up in pace and things begin happening in the story it will become hot shit.

Break Quest seemed okay, though it reminds me way too much of Ruby Quest what with the whole escape the room thing and immediately meeting a companion/love interest 5 seconds in. Another issue is that Rennie Quest (which IMO pretty much set the bar for MLP quests and got the whole trend started) was also rather inspired by Ruby Quest, but was able to really set itself apart early on and continued to avoid just being a clone. This one kinda hasn't done much to really make itself any different, but has decent art so may last long enough to improve.

Glim Glam is a cute horse but I dunno about the cannibalism quest. Fits the season at least. Happy holidays.

Dunno about Delve Quest but controlling an entire DnD party mite be cool. Art kinda took a massive hit recently though as the QM tries to rush out more updates, and it's not like it was really that great before, plus it died early.

Harsh-Warming Eve probably won't last long enough to finish, but it looks like to be a short little quest anyway.

Maybe, but it's been a pretty weak first two sessions.

He presents a room with nothing in it but a sign, door, and a window you can't see through. Instead of just saying what the sign says, he spends a prompt and update just to do that. We can't interact meaningfully with any of them, and when someone points out a loose panel, that also gets shot down. Twice. The solution to this "escape the room" scenario was to literally wait to be let out.

Maybe it will get better, but I don't know how long it will take for that to happen.

See, this is the problem with Ruby Quest wherein people praise something for being revolutionary and amazing for its time and then mistakenly attrubte the success of its story to the success of its mechanisms for deleviring that story.

Ruby Quest can both be a gamechanger AND dated. Much like how Toy Story changed kids movies but does not hold up today on its technical aspects. It would also be a mistake to take the success of a quest as a whole and attribute it to every aspect of it, as if it'd be impossible for part of it to suck but be bolstered by the merits of everything else.

Also, on the other hand, CYOAs keep the anonymous culture, where anyone can suggest stuff and take part in discussion while staying anonymous. It is also not roleplaying strictly, since a character is controlled by [all/most/some] of the post in the thread.
