When it comes to "Generation 5", no idea.

I think it's more likely that we see a spinoff, or a "4.5" continuation with new characters that still uses the same art basis, the same style, still uses DHX, etc.

You can tell, especially in Seasons 4 and 5, that the artists they have there have really gotten into the groove of things. They've used more new faces, poses, expression, and artistic depth than they've used prior to that. They've got a good thing going, here.
