I watched the FiW version of this episode so many times that it's like watching it again for first time.

Oh yeah, one of the first FiWs, those were fun. Some fun YTPs as well.
I remember this episode mostly for its funny smirks and unusual expressions.

Dragonshy I've felt has a great intro with the montage, bland second act that just repeats Fluttershy is shy (and holy shit she almost murdered all of them due to causing the avalanche), and then it gets better once the actual dragon shows up. But honestly, I think there is at least one too many examples showing us that Fluttershy is scared, it takes too much time out of the episode.

Fluttershy sure has gotten a lot less fearful since the beginning of the series. It's been a subtle, gradual change, but it's undeniable when you look back and see what she was like in season 1 compared to now.

But i'm not sure if this is a good idea. /mlp/ don't seems to be in mood to watch this together or someting.

This adventure episode felt more like a slice of life mixture.

Which soiled FIM as nothing but a poorly made children's show which can't even sell toys correctly. Why was there no dragon toy? Why was there no singing pinkie pie figurine toy?

This episode shown either Faust or Mccarthy at being incompetent at writing.
Fluttershy was a filler. The action, execution and mountain's dangers never came properly into light.
They kept ragging oj about how it's cold, dangerous and they won't reach it until midnight.
Surprise: there was no snow, no real cold, no night and the dragon was a wuss.

Nevertheless. It was cute, quirky, prioritized characters over story. Much better than season 2,3,4,5's autism of parody, irony, bullshit cringe.
Which isn't much of aj accomplishment. Ducktales had much better adventure plots and executions with real danger in them.
