Nope. I always saw and still see the show as a toy commercial.
The only reason why I liked to watch it was because of the illusion of living in a better world, which they did a good job of destroying, making it basically USA with ponies.
That's all I have to say.

Looking at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fault_in_Our_Stars, it would seem that the ones who read it were some pretty cool people. If the subject matter were to my taste, I'd probably watch it. Sounds like a decent book that was turned into a decent movie, according to the $266 mil it pulled in theaters.
