Does it have to be strictly MLP based confessions? If so, I actually got interested in MLP through porn. I was in a particularly dark park of my life in which I spent almost all day everyday masturbating. It's... somewhat sorted but in one of those organized chaos sorts of ways. A vast majority (like 700GB) of that is a derpibooru backup, that is kept constantly up to date through an hourly process. It includes an sql database of tags and other info like uploader names/times, up/downvotes etc. as well as a copy of the full size image of course.

another 90GB or something is seasons 1-5 and the EqG movies in HD.

It's a php script written by some anon who did a derpibooru archive a while back, but went MIA after the 800k image mark.

He had the scripts up on github, so with a bunch of help from someone more knowledgeable in coding, I got them set up and running again.

I'm a writefag. For my first greentext, I wrote a novel length story, the first story I ever got that long after 15 years of writing, which had hundreds of views, and I got great feedback. Getting to the last chapter there were only 40 or so people reading, but I cherish them immensely. I almost cried when someone said I was their favorite writefag.

Since then I've been kicking myself every day for not writing another greentext but I can't ever write anything that both lasts long enough to post and also makes me feel like it's quality enough to have anons bother reading. TL;DR, I am a massive, glorious, Rainbow winged, autistic faggot, and don't give a fuck no mo.

Since I first watched the first episode, my mind has slowly but surely latched onto these ponies more and less over time. At times, they're all I can stand to think about, but at other times, they hardly cross my mind. I talk to them regularly and apologize to my Plushies when I feel I've neglected them for any amount of time.

Despite my focus-crippling a.d.d. Ponies are one of the few things I -can- focus on. I've abandoned much hope of ever bothering with 3dpd ever again, and pretty much fap only to ponies, anthro, etc.

Give me a break anon, you have the ability to reprogram your brain through means of positive self-talk. Start by writing out a few mantras like "I am important" "I love myself" "Life is good", whatever you want to start believing about yourself basically, and say them to yourself as often as you can, internally or out loud. The trick is to not only do this often, but to do it even if you don't believe what you're telling yourself. Forcing yourself to is vital. If you're consistent, you will start to believe what you're telling yourself, and this will help to get rid of any anxious or depressive thoughts, while also raising your self-esteem in the process. Write these out on post-it notes to remind yourself, carry them in your wallet, or write some in your phone, set reminders.

Mostly cured my self-esteem issues years ago (When I was about 20), took me about 3 months of telling myself this kind of stuff every single day to see a decent effect. A year in I basically had no more issues, my confidence was through the roof, and I had quelled my anxiety (Diagnosed with panic disorder, GAD, SAD at age 13). I'm 26 now. Neuroplasticity is magic.

Since a close friend of mine dragged me onto this ride two and a half years ago, I have:

- Spent about $1700 total in pone merch
- Abandoned my old furry ways
- Created an OC
- Commissioned a custom plushie of my OC
- Deleted my old porn stash because it didn't do the job anymore
- Attended 3 conventions
- Wasted 7 months of my life in an MLP-themed Second Life group
- Made a half-assed attempt at creating a tulpa, which went nowhere
- Fallen in love with a stranger's OC
- Made said OC my waifu
- Spent at least a half hour every day daydreaming about her for the last year or so
- Started peforming a quasi-pagan ritual every month or so, in the hopes that one day I might meet her
- Discovered that hypnosis can have lasting residual effects
- Abandoned all sense of dignity and pride
- Won the respect and friendship of a long-time acquaintance after carrying a pone dakimakura in public
- Repeatedly tested as one of the most autistic people on this board in power level threads.

All of this, in no particular order. While holding down a job and keeping up appearances with coworkers and at college.
I was relatively sane (at least by furry standards) until I discovered the show. This fandom ruined me.

This is the problem when autism meets fandoms. When it stops just being a fun bit of escapism and something to nerd out on and instead becomes a raison d'être you're fucked. Because ideally you want your raison d'être to be something that will bring you something you consider "success", like some money, a social life and the respect of your peers. A reasonable social status doesn't hurt, either. The truth is pone is only going to deliver that to a handful of people, mostly those who work on the show and those who have made themselves into fandom mini-celebrities.

I understand full on obsession with pone, but I try to keep a couple parallel obsessions running that deliver me more of what I want to get out of life, so pone can just be escapism. It's a tightrope walk, but so far so good.
