Well, lets look at it from a inside-the -fandom example: Fallout Equestria. The originall fic ended... 3 years ago? 4? And the sub-fandom, which is only a tiny fraction of this whole fandom, is still going, with new fics coming out, new artists replacing others, and so on. They are creating their own content to discuss, autism about, mae porn off, and so on.

So, i am not to worried that the end of the show will end all things pony right away.
There is regular cons from Australia over Germany to the US of A, which will probably be held for at least one year after the last season.


Now, of course it will die down a bit over the time. But many people have been influenced by this fandom, learned new shit, which they wont just stop doing. For example, I learned drawing. others learned how to sew costumes, plushes, and so on. Even if we should stop doing mostly pony stuff, I think most of us will ever entirely stop.

Then theres stuff like mLP pen and Paer/tabletop groups that brought people together, made friendships. Those wont dissolve suddenly either.


AND then, theres one big thing: Hasbroh loves Money. And this is the 4th version of My little Pony. There is a good chance that there will either be a FiM spinoff or well, a 5th generation. How good or bad either of those are, time will tell.

for the first point I'm afraid I'm ignorant of what fallout equestrian is but if its going strong years after it debuted then that's a pretty decent sign of what i can expect

as for the second its nice to see you all put a lot of work into skills like drawing and such. while more pony shit isn't something i'm honestly to ken on at least you all care enough to step up to the plate to better your selves to achieve more for what you guys love. wish a lot of other folks would cater such a culture

i'm also pretty ignorant on Hasbro desu as far as im concreted they're just a toy company i'm sure you all have a much deeper insight on the bigger scale of things. i also know that money can make people do crazy shit and with what Hasbro has on thier hands now i'm sure they'll keep this gravy train going as long as they can

What does that even mean though?

There will be different points at which certain people will "quit" after FIM ends.
Others will die, some died on the ride

And others will join even AFTER the show ended. they will one day stumble about this huge heap of fandom stuff and find interest in it, even if it will be few.
