>You can see supply crates floating through space, the ponies returning to their ships.
>The ships begin moving at a rapid pace, closing up their cargo.
>"They are running."

Fire at them if they run.

I forgot that all we had to do was just fire at their engines. So do that!

"All ships halt! You will be fired upon if you do not comply."

>A series of beams fire out, the lasers following, hitting the first ship.
>The first ship's shields are broken through and their engines take huge damage from the laser, a large section of it coming off.
>The second ship fires flares as the first ship's engine explodes, the area infront of you being lit up with light from the flares and burning fuel.

Pick up the floating ponies, escort the remaining ship to a dock and report them to the authorities.

>When you arrive, you contact the authorities, numerous ships seizing and boarding the pirate ship.
>After a bit, the officiers thank you, towing the pirate ship away.

"Angel, could you take us back to that planet? Our employer is offering a bonus if we can give them their supplies back, i want to get more from that ship we attacked."

>Chaos puts a display on screen, the flaming wreck of the ship falling towards the planet at an uncontrollable rate.

"It can't be helped, let's take what we can back and get a bonus."
>After about an hour of flight, you bring the supplies back to the colony.
>A pony at the landing pad thanks you when you return the suplies, giving you an extra 3000 credits.

>After a little bit of waiting, you get a corse and begin heading in the direction of the lost ship.
>"Think we will find something?" Cobalt asks.
"I hope we do, hopefully survivors too."
>"Yeah, last time was a little too grim for my liking." Sky says.

>"I just picked up an outpost on the sensors! Five ships launched and headed for us!"
>The communications open up, a voice coming through the speakers.
>"Attention unknown vessel, you have trespassed on space belonging to the Frontier Federation! Disarm all weapons and submit for escort, or you will be destroyed!"

>You open up communications, talking to the approaching ships.
"We are a third party mercenary group that is just passing through on a mission, We don't want a fight on our hooves. We were not aware this was Federation space and will happily leave."
>"Stay where you are. What is your mission?"
"Search and rescue of a lost ship. Speaking of, would you know anything about the lost ship?"
>There is a long silence, the five ships splitting up and begining to flank you.
>"Confirmed that the ship is the Artemis. All ships! Destroy the enemy of the Federation!"
>The area around you becomes filled with laser and beam fire, your shield taking numerous hits.
>"Shields are at 70% and dropping Vex!" Sky shouts.

You know who we are yet you choose to fight us. This will be the last mistake you make in your life!

Also will a pony please go to fixer and make sure she's not building a shield, I don't want anything to blow up in her face when the ship eventually starts to rock.

Since we're getting surrounded break though the line around us and let's try to get some distance while our lasers charge back up and we can take out another of their ships.

>You turn your attention back to the battle, seeing one of the enemy ships going up in flames.

"Push through! Make it so they are not surrounding us anymore!"
>Your ship pushes past the destroyed ship, taking more hits.

Move away from then, making them given chase then spin around when they're close enough together and sweep our lasers across them. When their shields are down try to cause a chain reaction again.

"Keep going! Full thrust! We will sweep them with the lasers when we turn around. Cobalt, Chaos, we are going to try and cause a chain reaction by destorying one of the ships. Focous on one when we fnish the sweep."

>Your ship keeps going, gaining some distance from the outpost and enemy ships.
>"Get back here! Mercenary dogs!"
>You ship begins to turn around, the lasers firing in advance.
>The laser sweeps all four of the ships, each of their shields holding.

>"Firing!"
>Both beam cannons fire, the four beams hitting their target, making the ship explode.
>The ships beside it take damage, both their shilelds going down as they fire at you.
>Your shield lights up again as it takes a few hits, some of the shots missing.
>"Shields are at 40%!"
>"A squad of fighters has launched from the outpost! There are eight of them!

Sweep the two that lost their shields then focus on the last one. Let our anti-fighter guns handle the fighters for now.

"Sweep back the cut the two with no shilds in half! leave the fighters to the fighter guns."

>The lasers fire again and your ship sweeps back, cutting the unshielded ships in half.
>As Angel finishes the sweep, the fighter guns begin firing, two of the fighters getting hit and exploding as they beginnattacking you.

"Destroy that last ship."
>"Ready Cobalt?"
>"Yes."
>The beam cannons fire again, hitting the enemy shields and disabling them.
>Angel brings the ship back again and fires the laser, finishing the enemy ship off.
>"That thing is a monster! All fighters retreat, we can't win this fight!"
>"All the remaining fighters are fleeing." Chaos says.
>"Good." Angel sighs, slumping back in his chair.
>"What about that outpost Vex?" Chaos asks.

Let's check to see if they have a wrecked ship there or not and then we can find out if that's where the ship went. We can also scour it for supplies.

Describe the outpost. I've no idea what we're working with. Is it like a small mooring dock which means there's likely no one left there, or is it an actual facility?

>"Not sure, but we would be in for a fight unless they evacuate."

>"It's here. And it's been shot up. looks like they were scraping it for parts.

>"Figures. They thought they were easy prey and wanted to make the ship battle ready i bet." Angel says.

Send a message to the outpost. "Did any of the ponies on that ship survive? No response will be taken as an invitation to hostility." If it's yes then they should be placed in an escape pod and we can pick them up. Either way tell them to eject the wrecked ship. We can tow it back to the mission giver.

By the end of it send a final message "It is the Federation's choice that they are our enemy." then wreck the outpost.

>You sigh, watching the wreck float away as you use the communications again.
"It is the Federation's choice that they are an enemy to the Artemis."

"Angel, wreck that outpost."

>The ship moves to the side, lasers firing as it moves back to the station.
>Angel does two sweeps, cutting the station into pieces, an explosion sending the pieces flying.
"Alright everypony, we are going to tow thay destroyed ship back, can we get a team out there to hook it up?"
>"Charon? Cobalt? Feel like a walk?" Sky asks.
>Both mares get up, going with Sky.
>You feel a nudge against your side, looking down and noticing that Hunter holding onto you the entire time.

"Yes, it is over."

"Well, there is a nice place i know where you could get plenty love energy without causing danger. Feel like going there? i bet you could get a full dose of love."

>She gasps slightly and hops off her chair, moving to be infront of you.
>She then turns and arches her back, leaving her rear in the air and pointed towards you.
>She moves her lifted tail to the side, leaving herself completly exposed to you as she looks back at you with a small blush.
>"I-i was just trying to check on what you asked me about, master. i wanted to get the shields so they could stay on longer but provide less cloaking. i was able to get the other shield done!"

The magic vanguard is basically a magic specialist, using magic over weapons. can be used as a magic based point man or magic artillery to support the crew.

the spotter is like a scout, finding and keeping track of enemy locations, but somewhat of a sniper also. More of an assistant to Cobalt, helping her find targets or coordinate an attack.
