Well the good news folks is that I'm feeling a fair bit less murderous. With any luck I'll be feeling more my normal self after a good sleep.

Secondly, I've given the Upgrades sheet a do-over. Some minor tweaks have been made, plus I hope it's a lot easier to read through.

So immediately speaking, we probably need a more unified plan on how we want to develop our Inn. We've got a lot of options on upgrades, but it mostly comes down to picking an image for our inn and developing the upgrades that best compliment that.

So far, we've been envisioning it as a place with a lot of adventurers and friends around, so I think that a den/club is the sort of feeling that we're going for. Comfort food, relaxing decor, accomodations for the more weird patrons out there. We've been making good progress towards this so far already, and the Velvet Saddle being a more upscale locale, this won't put us into direct competition with them.

To that end: start with improving our furniture, and that means developing the bits to start paying off our debt towards Rowan. He's been accommodating thus far, but until we start actually paying him back, its unfair for us to assume that he'll just keep shelling out quality woodwork.

It also means we focus heavily on improving our variety of food over the quality of our food. We're going for home-y, not upscale, so we need to be able to appeal to wide sensibilities of adventurers abroad and carnivores. That said, high-quality booze and cheap, quality grub are must.

Overall, this seems to fit what people have been aiming at with our motto and the name the Sword and Board, and seems like it will help make the Inn a fun place to be for a CYOA.

I'm a bit optimistic on this front, but personally, I think that saving is losing in this situation.

Our costs are calculated day to day and even with just the lunch rush we can make up our expenses. From there, most of our money is going to Rowan and Co. Rowan and co also represents a large chunk of what we want to focus on (comfort, furnishings, security, etc.)

So I think the real key is that we need to save enough money to start making our payments, then talk to Rowan about getting more stuff out of him.

Immediately, a cart, upgraded beds, and locks should be, in my opinion, the top priority.

At this point that's probably Azura. Foregoing Sundance will make a few people rage and rage, but ultimately speaking a lot of people like Azura just enough to maintain an interest in waifuing her.

We've got a large enough base that its not about pleasing everyone perfectly, its about finding an option that doesn't set everyone off.
